Not that there's a reason for Frederick to be in the game but I haven't seen him in a very long time it seems... anything going on there? Never mind, he just got blown up on that one.

This is exactly the reason why I hate to see Drake on the schedule. It is time to eliminate them for good, or have a home basketball game against them as a trade off. Our passing game is pretty damn good but I do worry about the O-Line when it comes to run blocking. Against Bowling Green we will see how good both lines really are. At least we don't have to worry about a crazy upset happening tonight. LOL, we are all thankful you aren't making any schedules. Kase is going to be such a stud. Henry looks good as well.

Observations. I like Drake's football stadium but it is a little too concrete looking perhaps. I also liked the Drake uniforms a very simply Blue and White. I did not like the logo on their helmet though. This is a game where it is difficult to really put a gauge on much of anything. Drake isn't good and played a horrible game. Obviously can't really fault USD for continuing to destroy them for almost the entire game. I would rather have the problem of wondering if USD is really this good or if Drake is just that bad vs having to explain why the team couldn't play a better game against a bad team. I will give the generic answer on the USD-good vs Drake-bad question, probably a bit of both.
I came out of this thinking that USD is going to have trouble running the ball against better teams. Instead of running very often on first down against a brick wall just use the passing game as a way to run the ball. From the very little we saw of Frederick I don't think he will be the starter very long. Klett and Henry looked pretty good but is it actual good or good because Drake is bad. That will be found out soon.
The bottom line is that the Coyotes certainly didn't give us much reason today to worry about much. We will make that judgement in the weeks to come.

I thought Kai Henry was very impressive tonight. Looking forward to seeing more of that kid. I can see why the staff is excited about him.

Watched game on Drake pay per view on internet. Picture was good--they lost it a couple of times and at times the sound was garbled but ok for 90% of game (worth $). Yotes obviously dominated! Great to see a lot of reserves get experience. Drake goes to the bunnies in 2 weeks--will be interesting. A ton of receivers caught balls and had TDs which is great! A team can always improve--I would say deeper KOs and none out of bounds, more consistent pass rush and some improvement on run blocking otherwise Yotes looked great!
All time Coyote record for points was 86 vs Augie in 1930--which could have been easily exceeded but no point in that...

He has a knack for finding that hole and runs hard after first contact. He has nice vision and decent but not game breaking speed. I also like that he is a freshman. It all starts with the line. They have to do the job to allow these guys a chance to make good chunks of yardage.

Not sure why you paid for a game that was free but i really did learn a whole lot about anyone in the league NDSU WIU USD and SDSU bet teams easily that they should next week should be a better tale of the league as a whole. not sure why you paid for a free game but as a whole but i didn't learn a whole lot this week NDSU ISU USD WIU SDSU beat the teams pretty easily as i expected should get a better idea of the league after next weeks games.

Well, hopefully thie script continues to work like we hoped when the Drake & BG games were swapped on the schedule. A warmup game to get the kinks out, hopefully everyone is healthy. (Andrew Gray and apparently Dagel had ice on ankle.). Then a week of practice to fix any issues they had last night and try to win a game at BG. As someone mentioned in the last couple days, BG could be an equivalent game to a higher end MVFC team so let's go get 'em.

Coyotes took care of business. A lot of strong performances, but liked what I saw from the Freshmen (True & Red Shirt): Levi Falck Kai Henry Phillip Powell Nathan Schultz Mason Scheidegger Mark Collins Jr. And I probably missed some in my list. Love what this staff is doing in recruiting and building a program!
Will be a good test to see how the Yotes do at Bowling Green.
