family members really should refrain from posting about their brother, son etc I don't think you would have said that if you talked to his mom! I'm almost positive he flipped from UNI and great to see him with us at USD. Hoping it's his family member that posted and hoping we'll find a way to meet up soon.  Impact Player of the Week: I happened to be at the game this past weekend in Drake. Kody Case really impressed me. For a true freshman to come into our deep receiving core and get the kind of playing time he did says a lot to me about our staff's confidence in him. He was kind of a do it all player in high school at a small school in Iowa. He made a nice little 23 yd TD catch to start off his career. Also, he was back returning punts early in the game. Punt returning is one of the toughest things to do in football, but also has the opportunity to change a game. Look forward to seeing him play a lot of games in the Vermillion and white uniform! family members really should refrain from posting about their brother, son etc Definitely not a family member and don't know Case on a personal level whatsoever. We've had a lot of new blood joining this board which is great to see. The 1985'er wasn't wrong about it not being a good idea posting about family members who are players. Overall this board is a very friendly place and we try to keep it that way but sometimes when it comes to the internet things can go sideways. I do remember several years ago we had a family member come on here and argue and defend their relative. I actually knew him in real life and had to reach out to him to tell him to not to engage in things online, that's it's just not a good idea.
Just a word of caution, keep it positive, and if the talk does start going negative, which happens during rough patches, just stay away. No need to air our dirty laundry in public.

Interesting note in relation to Kase. When Coach was on with Caling All Sports show yesterday he said that Kase was returning punts due to an injury to the 1st string returner. I don't remember seeing Paul Anderson get hurt, was it possibly Ducker? Anyone remember either of them getting hurt?
