We are at 11 pages and it is only Thursday. This is going to be a huge game. I wonder if I even needed to say that. This is a tough week to get through but I am hanging in there and hopefully so are the rest of Coyote Nation in anticipation. Today is tough enough but tomorrow is going to be brutal so close to the weekend. Luckily this is a day game because I would hate to have to wait until a 7PM kickoff. UND will be tougher then Bowling Green in many areas so the Coyotes will have to deal with that but on the other hand they were really close to just blowing the Falcons apart. The home field should make a big difference for the Coyotes. I picked 38-24 Coyotes and I think one of those UND touchdowns will be a late meaningless touchdown without the Hawks having any real chance of a comeback. I might be a little too optimistic but I could definitely foresee a 31-7 type halftime score in favor of red and white. I think there will be a little shell shock effect for UND how quickly the Coyotes can strike. If anyone remembers 2005 I could see a similar game to that. Many on the UND board are predicting that the Coyotes will not even get to 20 points and one guy even picked a shutout. He will probably be right for about 4:00.

I would have thought tickets would move faster than they are. At one point I had heard only 500 tickets left, then it went to 900, now it is 1,000. USD is traditionally a walk-up ticket crowd type of school, so that is a good thing. The line for student tickets was extremely long. I wonder if they allow standing room only anymore. I don't think they will turn anyone away from the turnstiles but I hope I am wrong.

For this week against UND it is simple....the DL must step up and slow down UND's run game and force them to to throw the ball so our D can create turnovers. Our offense is going to get the points (UND's MVFC top corner is out for the season with an injury). If we get them unbalanced and they have to rely on throwing the ball....we got them! I am confident in the improvement of our D-line....its going to be a heck of a game! Can't wait to arrive in SD on Saturday!! Go YOTES!!!! Our passing game is much improved this year.

My ticket count this morning: A: 170 B: 63 chairbback, 374 bleachers C: 130 D: 0 E: 0 F: 0 G: 55 H: 186 bleachers I: 59 Total: 1037 Big block of seats in A and B were made available since I last counted, probably unsold visitor allotment. I'm unsure if this one is a sellout, will find out on my way in I guess. They may hold back some of the bleacher seats in section B until after the students get their tickets. I'd almost guaranty that this will be a sellout. I've talked to several people that normally only go to D-Days that are headed down this weekend. The Dome will be LOUD!

I looked on vividseats.com and it showed only 6 seats left in section B. What gives? Maybe go to the source rather than a scalper?

Lost for words? What temperature do they keep it inside the DakotaDome? Kinda like talking about the weather? Still didn't get a report. Just looked at my Thermometer and it's 59 degrees in GF, yesterday it showed a record 94 degrees.

As a freshman in 09 I recall standing along the wall behind the end zone because the student section was full on DDays. I can't believe that was ever allowed.

For what its worth, I'm pretty sure the guys was being satirical because we had the shutout last week. Nobody realistically thinks this will be a shutout. I'm going to go 34-24 UND, but I'm thinking the game is closer than that. Late TD to pull away. Regardless, this should be a great game to watch. Should also mention, while I think this will be a close game, and it should be a close game, I would not be altogether shocked if either team ran away with it. Both teams have some sneaky offense, and if either team has an off day defensively, the opposition will capitalize.

Last week I called for the Yotes to win 34-30, the final was USD 35 - BG 27. I wasn't that far off.
I have been saying it over and over that I really believe USD is going to roll UND this game. I just think there is a lot of unfinished business, a bad taste from last year, determination, call it whatever you want, I will simply call it REVENGE. USD is going to jump on them early just like last year. Unlike last year, when they get UND down they are going to step on their throats and finish them. Anybody remember when Wesley B and the Yotes rolled UND in the Dome? Yeah, that's the kind of game it's going to be. Afterwards UND fans talked like they got back in that game, no they didn't, the game was never in doubt from the opening kickoff. Same thing is going to happen tomorrow, the Yotes will jump out early, get a comfortable lead, UND will score some, but the game will never be in doubt.
USD 37 - UND 20

Alright! Prediction Friday has started!
I think it follows a script pretty similar to the BG game (strike early, build a lead, lull, tight finish that doesn't really follow the rest of the game).
USD 48 UND 34

70s with a chance of rain outside on Saturday. Inside, 72, dry, no wind. oh there will be rain clouds over some of those fans heads... the little sisters to the north. Blitz the crap out of their QB, he'll crap his pants, they have 0 wr's on the edge, so pin the ears back and go for it. if USD doesnt win this by 31-14 or more, i will not be impressed. "PROVE IT" USD.. Prove that you belong. It's Time for you.

Best thing for USD D has to be playing from ahead and trying to get them one dimensional.

You'll be surprised how good our passing game is, and when used, even makes our running game better. Someone is going to be very disappointed, high hopes on each side. Be a good game to watch.
