yea I agree. most of us laugh. it's usually a gold rush game.
sounds like our LB Jordheim is out for game. freshman Jabril Cox will fill in, Matt Plank will move back to MLB and Nic Deluca goes to OLB and will allow for more blitzing.

9 points is what it takes to get some USD money in the game. What that bet means is nobody will take USD unless they get 9 points. If I were a gambler, this is a bet I would certainly take. Relative strength indexes show a 3 point game. That brings this matchup into the realm of the intangables. If you throw in home field (one of the top homer field advantages in college football and one of the nations most beloved college football venues), motivation (USD won in The FFD last time by 3 points) and coaching (NDSU has a great coaching staff) you could get Bison by 9 but at most I see Bison by 6. Take USD and the points. The over/under should be 57 with a typical score of 30-27 Bison. With these defenses I would take the under, even the 52 which, in this case, may be more accurate anyway, and I dont think the spread will be covered. On the other hand SDSU beat the Bison by 12.

finally had time to watch the Midco video. Thanks that was interesting. dont get that around here. It led to a great ZZ top video too. Perfect pre-game music for me, especially 24 hours out.
I was thinking about the intangables. Of course its impossible to predict every football game. The reason is probably the intangibles.
If you are trying to predict the outcome of a football game, or make a bet, you try a formulate a probable outcome. After examining the facts, if it’s close, you need to find more points. this will be the subjective side, or the analysis of the intangibles.
Top on the list is home field. You can throw in a lot under home field and the more you throw in on one side the larger the home field advantage is. I've seen some fours and maybe a five but most agree this should be 3 points at most.
If you still need more look to coaching and motivation. Of course you can call on the weather too but not in Fargo of Vermillion.

Here is a question. If Nick Jensen starts tomorrow, does he immediately go back to LT? Does Digger go back to C? They gonna sit Cujo after stripping the RS? Tanner Andersen was rotating with Bianchi at RT against SIU. Not sure they’ve been happy with that position all the time. Possible they put Nick at RT to ease him back into action? Will be interesting to see how it shuffles out.

Leohr played against SIU in garbage time but not last week.
