So far the Coyotes biggest flaw is holding big leads. The good news about this game is that Youngstown is not a team that is built to come from behind. With a backup QB I would agree, but watch the second half of the Pitt game on YouTube and you will see we stormed back from a 21-0 halftime deficit and very nearly won it from Narduzzi before falling in OT. We dominated Pitt in the second half similarly to SDSU on Saturday. You guys have great fans that wanted a winner when I met them here in past. Now they have a winner which is great for the league. A lot of our games have been close and I expect this one to be too. Pickem in my humble opinion.

Just because I am picking a 37-13 game does not mean I think SD has an 80% chance to win the game. I would probably give SD a 53-47% chance to win. SD has a tendency to really roll in some of their home games where many think it will be a close game. I really think the start of the game is vital. If Youngstown establishes their defense and comes out and stops the Yotes scoreless on their first couple of drives then I think the Penguins chances are really good to win. I think the Coyotes front 7 is probably a little better than SDSU's at this point and I think they will also play with more energy at home then the Jacks did in Youngstown. I don't think Western Illinois is that far behind Youngstown with how they have played so far and the Coyotes had them down on their home field 38-6. Of course their defense is not as good as YSU's but Western's defense is far from poor. This will be a fun one for sure and both teams of course have a very legit chance to pick up the W.

I'll agree with all your statements as long as USD focusses this week which I think they will for 2 reasons; that second half storm and that Youngstown beat down of SDSU.

My weekly update on betting lines: USD favored by 6.
After watching this team lose so many games I am just thrilled to see us ranked 6th and favored to beat the 3rd ranked team by a TD. Don't care if neither mean anything, it's just great to see public opinion finally in our favor.

In regard to this weekend's game there isn't much I can do as a fan other than: 1) show up; 2) stay to the end; and 3) yell at the top of my lungs when it is called for.
I think this is called "Defending the Dome" from the fan's standpoint. I'm ready to do my part and hope others are ready, too.
Go South Dakota!!

First home game I'm missing since the 2013 opener. It's going to be weird watching a game in the Dome on TV hundreds of miles away. Weddings in the Fall should be illegal.

SDSU is an Agricultural school. So Moo-U would be a slang for our farm school rival. Sorry, I thought everybody in the Dakotas was a farmer. You guys do other stuff besides plow? Seriously. I did check your website and I see you pride yourself in diversity, so that means you not only have farmers, but also people who sell farm equipment as well!

It's entirely possible that a USD grad could go on to have a career in agriculture, the school offers some very versatile degrees, but we do not have any piles of cow shit on our campus. Except for maybe Julian Hall.

I didn't check, but I assume YSU offers all types of degrees - how to put tires on cars AND how to cover up rust? No need to go down that smack lane - I just chuckled at your post.

Again, 5dimes is the only place that carries these lines so I'm not 100% sure the movement is based on anything other than just public money. Still interesting. But -6 seems high to me.

Glad you got a chuckle. It was meant to be funny. I used to work for a company with a huge warehouse in Brookings. I know people in SD, and I like the people I know in SD. Hope you guys have better refs out there than we do back here. 4 games in and I haven't seen a good job of officiating yet. Not bias, just poor. The last 3 we got several calls go our way that I thought were pretty bad, and a ton stoppage to reset the clock 4 seconds, then they run of 15 as the teams stop the game to reset the clock 4 seconds and then the team runs of 15 seconds before the snap, 5 minute conferences on the field and then pick up the flag, etc. I did check a SDSU blog and the Bunnies call us the YSU Flightless Birds. Not very catchy, and with 63 rushes for 350 yards and 45+ minutes TOP, they should be careful what they wish for!

Who would ever consider a career in selling farm equipment? Must be a low life I know a guy who has been selling John Deere tractors, combines, and equipment for over 40 years... Does very well for himself and family... When you make commission on something that costs $400,000, it doesn't take long to make a few dollars.

Pretty sure yoteforever was dropping some self-deprecating humor there. He's done very well for himself in the farm equipment business.
