Incredible that the Oline is doing this with a true freshman center and and redshirt freshman tackle, all the shuffling happening due to Jensen going down to injury. Coaches have done an awesome job in recruiting and development. Has anyone heard how Nick Jensen is doing? Possible return date? Talked to him a little on Saturday. Wasn't a season ender, but it will still be a couple weeks.

After watching the video I am very impressed with Mallory...seems like a good leader that would have an equally good staff following him and should have the same recruiting/coaching results as USD has. For that reason, coupled with the fact that I don't remember a team going 0-6 too much, I think we're in for a tough game. I think we're going to need that dome be as loud as it was last week. This team is going to come in really hungry and not let anything on the field. It's always the man that isn't afraid to die that wins the fight and these boys are backed into the corner. From time to time, you might hear me talk about my sons middle school coach that started 4 years at Indiana...well it was for Mallory's dad and this coach knows his stuff. btw...if you read this coach M, I'm sure Shrader says hi! As for our fans...we really need to rock the dome as much as we did last week. This is a classic trap game and every team needs that 12th man to show up in force. I live 8 hours away and haven't missed a game yet this year...and that includes the spring game that my son couldn't come as he was in his State HS track meet. The 12th man has to help build it as well!!! DO NOT TAKE THIS GAME LIGHTLY!!!

Yodayote you are on point! I just had that discussion with my son yesterday! This kind of game scares me because ISU has nothing to lose and they will play with reckless abandonment. I trust our coaching staff to keep the hunger and momentum going so that the team is prepared. No game in the Valley is a gimme. I will be there tailgating and rooting for the YOTES!!! GOOOOOO YOTES!!!

ISU will play their hearts out no doubt, but they just don't have the level of ability that a YSU or Western has. That's not arrogance or a purposeful dig against this week's opponent, it's just a fact. I look forward to the yotes playing hard and continuing to improve every week.

I haven't seen any Indiana State this year so can't give an opinion on their talent level...therefore, I also can't disagree with this post. I also do believe our boys are well grounded and very hungry as well. However, Indiana State is backed into a corner and I'll stand by my concerns that we still need that dome to be FULL AND LOUD!

Thanks! Maybe since it was just a video the quote box was down lower? In any event, I'll watch that an appreciate the help.
