Now you decide to do some reporting Mick. Sheesh. Coach Nielson just said on KWSN that Chris was practicing and should be ready to go this weekend.

Well dang it then Bob. We need to be a little more cryptic in the injury situation. Keep the Panthers guessing.

Bob's a smart guy, I fully expect an official announcement that Streveler and Simmons have left the team to form a hip-hop duo. Even if the two come back UNI won't be prepared for the sick moves they've learned.

I can't remember where I saw this but there was a story about a football player (I think a runningback) that actually learned Irish dancing and he used some of the moves on the football field. Something to do with footwork I believe.

You do realize that Irish dance prowess is directly proportional to the amount of 🍻🍻🍻 consumed

Again my annual statement that over the years USD has played UNI tough. I expect we will hold to that tradition.
UNI is worn down a bit I think and will have difficulty with USD.
By the way, I've done an Irish jig (on stage in community theater years ago) and anyone trying it on field during a game would get killed! However, and this is probably what you're getting at CF - it does instill a bit of foot coordination and that ain't all bad.

You make a very good point here that I was thinking about a little this week as well, but didn't post anything on it yet. The Panthers have played Youngstown and NDSU back to back. Both very physical football teams on both sides of the ball. That could take a toll on UNI this week. USD didn't have an extremely physical game vs SIU especially since the game was never really in much doubt. They also didn't really play an extremely emotionally taxing game like they did against Youngstown earlier in the year. This could especially hurt their defense trying to keep up with the Coyote O.

Many may not think it because they're also fast. ..but that's all by design.

Not surprising, Harris is not on the depth chart. Armstead and Collins listed as our starting corners.

On observation that is easy to overlook: Streveler is essentially coming off a bye-week from a physical standpoint. Stingers are such that there isn't any lingering pain/tenderness (which is also why he could have played the 2nd half last week). He should be well rested and had time to recover from the Ill St. dings.
Of our 3 remaining games, I am not aware of anyone else whose key offensive player got a bye week this late in the year.

I wonder if we see Mike Johnson play some CB for the rest of the season. He has experience at the position.
