If someone is bothered by this then don't click the topic. No one is ever forced to read anything and no one should be forced not to read either. It's called America. Every media outlook is all over this story so why on the Coyote message board should we not talk about it. Actually they are interviewing students right now on KELO TV and they are talking about it as well. I prefer not to sweep things under the rug just because they are unpleasant to talk about. I don't think anyone is pulling info out of their asses but instead commenting based on what has already been reported. Did you read what I said? I suggested not speculating. I didn’t say you couldn’t speak. I didn’t say you couldn’t read. I didn’t say anything about feelings of comfort or lack thereof. I realize you are a contrarian, so i know you will do what you do.

yoteforever taking sides with Cousin Eddie again, Shocker Everyone seems to agree with his statement. It's a wise one. My point is that I don't like when people try to act as message board policemen and tell other people what they should and should not say speculation or not. Suggestion that people not speculate is kind of a form of censorship in itself. As long as people aren't saying things that are not true they should be able to speak/write as they see fit. People are responsible for what they say and write so if someone wants to risk getting in trouble by speculating then let them get into trouble. People don't seem to understand the concept of not clicking on something if they are not interested. There are countries that don't allow freedom or speech and expression and I am sure there are a few open lots of land for those that wish that type of communication. At this point in time I believe in allowing the justice system to run it's course. What if by some small chance one or more of these players is completely innocent of these accusations. You can never go too far to one side or the other without the absolute truth known. Right now it doesn't look very good but who knows what the future brings.

Gossip.... never liked it. It does no good for anyone.
Not to diminish the seriousness of this event in any way, but for me, I'll wait for the facts to come out and probably say nothing anyway.

This article is full of nothing. This is how it reads: KELO heard about a rumor circulating in Vermillion. KELO followed up on the rumor. The rumor, thus far, has been unfounded as the two people they asked from each respective organization either 1. Said "No" USD football did not post bail, or 2. The identity of whoever posted bail is confidential (likely by standard procedures from the company). Nowhere in the article does a credible source give any type of real confirmation to the rumor. In fact, whether true or not, I would say it was irresponsible journalism to run such a story without any type of good source to back up the story. This article is full of lazy journalism and I question the ethics of whoever decided to go with the story. NOTE: If, indeed, the rumors are true, I would be deeply disappointed and upset with our football program and would be in favor of whatever repercussions it would add to the program.

Look, I like giving you guys hell but there’s no way that Nielson let your football program post bail for these guys. This article is full of nothing. If they do find something substantial that backs the rumor up then there’s some serious trouble, but I can’t imagine that being the case. Not with how the situation has been handled as a whole.

Huh? That is another Angela K hack job. Folks want to talk about garbage reporting? She is Exhibit A. What a waste of air.

What happened to the days of reporters actually investigating rumors to substantiate them before reporting. Our media has turned into propaganda BS.

What happened to the days of reporters actually investigating rumors to substantiate them before reporting. Our media has turned into propaganda BS. That's the thing, many of them do. Those who don't, and run a story merely to fit their own narrative, stay in a small TV market for 30 years.

Nightmare scenario for all families involved... This scenario makes me super sad. When the truth comes out regardless what it is the damage is done, breaks my heart.
I read this and immediately called my son to use it as a teaching moment... My fear as a father with a son far away is a life altering bad decision. I pray he never places himself adjacent to scenarios that can potentially destroy his future and/or hurt someone. So sad...

I’m sure a lot of parents first response is “not my son”... Anyhow my son’s response was “I can’t see them doing that”...
