So NDSU does have a great team intro. What are all your suggestions for the USD team intro? I thru Flor Rida "My House" out there. Yes...it's overused and may not have the "pop" for a team coming into their stadium to kick some booty. I'm interested in what everybody has to say. (The players can comment on this as well)

I have a good idea...how 'bout the students have it as a voting during the week? That song gets played at intro. Might help build up the interest for the game during the week as well?

Students just need to show up and stay for the entire game. That would be a start. Then they can start playing DJ.

I know its used at Wisconsin, but Jump Around at the end of the 3rd quarter would be cool.

I like "my house". Who cares if it's overused? Reminds me of the 2016 WNIT championship game in the dome when they used that as the intro. Good karma IMO m.youtube.com/watch?v=GSwRz3HojPo

They used to give away a semester of free tuition, students still didn't show up. $50 isn't going to get them in the door.

The only enticing giveaway would be alcohol, and to everyone.

diagree - the dome should be an alcohol free zone. Not everything has to be simply about making money.

I happen to like the entrance tha we have right now. I like the Harley entrance and the video intro. The red lights in the tunnel are really cool IYAM. Trying to replicate anybody else entrance is the wrong way to go about it IMO, and to center it around 1 particular song just seems so fabricated to me. I like sportschic's idea of turning out the lights and getting some tech involved(lights, video board, lasers, etc.), maybe even some pyro technics (fireworks, flames, fog machines). The thing I remember most about playing at NDSU back in my days was the damn fireworks they shot off.

Hate to burst the bubble of the little world you live in, but the Dome hasn't been alcohol free in many years. They serve beer on Coyote Landing and I remember watching people and staff carrying coolers of beer up to the skyboxes since the early 90s.

True, and I believe the state BOR gave the OK for us to sell alchohol last year - at each institution's discretion. So far I think it is mostly in the VIP/club areas only (didn't know about Coyote Landing). Plus, if we are being totally honest, the Dakota Dome has never really been alcohol-free...

Selling alcohol would keep more people inside after halftime. A lot of people stay outside and watch the 2nd half on their TV's if it's not cold.
It would also generate more revenue. People want upgrades and this would help.
