Hate to burst the bubble of the little world you live in, but the Dome hasn't been alcohol free in many years. They serve beer on Coyote Landing and I remember watching people and staff carrying coolers of beer up to the skyboxes since the early 90s. True, and I believe the state BOR gave the OK for us to sell alchohol last year - at each institution's discretion. So far I think it is mostly in the VIP/club areas only (didn't know about Coyote Landing). Plus, if we are being totally honest, the Dakota Dome has never really been alcohol-free... If I rememeber correctly, Inman Stadium was alcohol free too wasn't it? Am I being naïve here? Weren't those students lying on the bleachers after games just catching a quick nap due to exhaustion after voraciously cheering the Coyotes on to victory?

Now that I rethink this, being inside the Dome during the game offers some nice recovery time. What reminded me of that was years ago when we'd sit up in the box and drink beers the whole game. A guy just got no relief and by the end of the evening things got pretty messed up. It's nice to pace it out now. Besides, the Dome has NEVER been alcohol free. The bleachers used to be full of empty bottles after the game.
