Oh, I agree there were some huge game changing plays that USD could have made to win this game. BTW, Strev was in on that goal line play on 4th down.
It's that SDSU resorted to bush league tactics that absolutely effected this game is what really rubs me wrong.

Any easy rule change IMO that would curb these fake injuries, would be to give the opposing team the option of either a 10 second runoff on the clock or an extra timeout whenever an opposing player goes down stopping play. USD will continue seeing other teams do this to try and slow them. Illinois State was the other team to do it this year several times.

My suggestion, because this is all about player safety, is that the hurt player is out for 10 minutes of game time on the clock. You would see defensive "injuries" dramatically decline.
Look, I don't want players hurt. I used to play football. But there is something going on with all of this. It used to be a badge of honor to get your butt off the field. Now, players lay all over the place. Coincidentally on 3rd downs, hmmm.
In the interest of player safety injured players need to be held out if the game action until they have had adequate time to be treated and recover.
That crap State pulled today was bs. It took til the dozenth time for the entire Dome to rain boos down. They were doing it in the first quarter. It was game planned.

I couldn't hate the school up north and it's fans anymore than I do right now. Not only were they assholes during the game trying to tell us to sit down, but several of my coworkers had to text me to let me know they won again, and my neighbors felt it necessary to decorate my house in yellow and blue balloons and streamers while we were gone today. I never talk smack when we win. I quietly go about my business, act mature, and never say a word about it. Why do the assholes from up north have to constantly let us know when they win? It has to be an inferiority complex is all I can think of. I know there are a few (very few) gracious ag school fans, but the majority are just pricks.
It's no wonder the entire MVFC hates the fans of the school up north.

I guess I just assumed that many of the bunny players were having their periods and that's why they were cramping so much. Must have just been the defensive players though because I don't remember a single offensive player cramping.

I will be absolutely livid if the cheap antics of the inbreds keep us out of the playoffs. No honor up there. All variables but the location in their favor, and they still have to bastardize the game in order to win by just 3.
I very much look forward to blowing past these chodes in the next few years.

What an agonizing way for the game to end. Just watching the clock tick down. It was a a great season. Hard to tell what the selection committee does but a solid football foundation is in place. I know we all have our fingers crossed. The game was everthing we thought it might be except for one thing. We got everything we need all most. A great season, What are you talking about. I don't define one of the biggest choke jobs in MVFC history a great season, not even close. If we consider this a great season I think we need to have a parade in downtown Vermillion when the season is over to celebrate this.

Thanks to the Coyote Football team for a year that has set the bar higher. Biggest gain this year has been expectations, the Yotes have gotten better with just a year and a half under a very good coaching staff. Complain all you want about today’s game, the Yotes put on a show in front of a packed house. Too many Fans left when SDSU scored their last points, be a true fan, support the kids, support the program, and now let’s see what happens tomorrow morning and who knows, maybe we play the Bunnies again. Let’s put this one in the books and play a few more games.

Yipee The state of South Dakota is right back where it was when the season started. The stars are aligned and the order has been restored. The Coyotes once again lose to the Jacks so 80% of the state can rejoice once again. We can blame the refs, we can blame the fake injuries but it's all irrelevant. We need to look from within and stop blaming everything but the football team that just got flushed down the toilet. We don't hold the rabbit foot but maybe we need to start a ritual or a dance or something to rid the stench of the SDSU rivalry in football. I have a better idea. Why don't we just forfeit this game every year that way at least we won't get any injuries out of it. The result is always a foregone conclusion anyway. So take your pick, it's you choice of which photo applies the most but they all have relevance. As a fan base USD will just take it quietly and blame any fans that don't really feel like putting up with this choke job that was the 2017 football season. This program is the ultimate tease about once a decade and the rest of the time it's just plain bad football. This year was the ultimate tease. Start 6-0 get the hopes of the fan base up and than just leave them in the wind answering more questions about what went wrong again. Of course the final straw is that delivered from the arch enemies from Brookings. Their fans always get last laugh, we are the butt of jokes and I am tired of it. Bob Nielson is now 7-8 in his last 15 games. Which is about two-thirds of his tenure here. His teams have one huge tendency and that is to get worse the further the game goes on and to get worse the further the season goes on. He comes out and pretends to be a run first team. That results in 21 points when the game is still in doubt. The last touchdown was meaningless. I guess Bob now thinks that we should no longer be a hurry up offense because they is exactly what we weren't. The way the offense was run today why not just get in the huddle because it was the furthest thing from a hurry up. The Coyotes identity is not to play smash mouth football. As soon as we showed that we were going to play scared on offense it personally took a lot of emotion out of me because I knew this was not going to be the way to beat SDSU. We were playing for a tight game that came down to the fourth quarter and the Coyotes are not meant to be a team that wins tough games in the fourth. They just aren't. Considering the savior Bob is supposed to be he is fastly becoming in the over rated category. I personally think this game was lost in the week leading up to the game with the non aggressive style on offense that was employed. For me whether the Coyotes get into the playoffs is irrelevant. Even if they make it the furthest it goes is to the second round where they get blown out if they make it that far. NDSU or SDSU will humiliate us if it comes down to it but even making the second round is far from a given. The Coyote program needs to feel the pain of this late season meltdown and the best way to ensure that is to be left out of the playoffs. Forgive me for being sarcastic or cynical because this pain is just too much to bare at this point. I am so sick of having SDSU fans celebrate at out expense and laugh in our faces how little we beat there teams in big games. They rule this state and it is not even close.

Let’s put this one in the books and play a few more games. Let me ask you a little about a true fan. Should a true fan be upset about losing to their biggest rival in the biggest sport 18 out of the last 21 times or just continue to say "Aww shucks we will get em next time". I don't blame those fans one bit for leaving because the Coyote were not going to rally to win that game. Is if ever ok to say enough is enough and to be sick of this trend. Today is not a day to say everything is going to be ok, because ya know what, today is NOT ok, NOT ok in any means and if we as a fan base make it ok than we will lose 18 of the next 20 to the Jacks as well because after all, "it's been a good year". No one cares if you start 6-0 if you finish 1-4. That is called a choke job and the Coyotes don't have a good win since Western Illinois in flippin September. Why does there always have to be a lump of coal at the end of the year when it comes to this program. Every year they finish the year 1-3 or 0-4 and unbelievably they have done so again this year when it seemed impossible. Good teams don't end years like this.

I don't even have to read the BS posts to say Coyote Fan is a cancer.
Friendly reminder that you can also see less of his tripe with this board's ignore function.

Funny how you always keep telling everyone to ignore the posts but you keep on reading them. You will always keep on reading them and you will keep on hating on them and the world goes round and round. I love you too Yotes.

Well we can start with giving the Coyotes the heimlich maneuver, unclogging the toilet and cleaning up the train wreck just outside of Meckling. Am I the only one that can't stand the constant losing to the Jacks in anything. Then we have the constant end of season failure, and then we have the constant end of game failure. The moral of the story is that it just doesn't ever end well. What ends NOT well is NOT well. I just cannot get over the end to this season. We all thought we were making big progress and it all comes down in a huge thud. If people were to be told after the Indiana State game that the Coyotes would only win 1 more game people would have looked at you like you were crazy. Well that is Coyote football for ya. We will have a long off season to be reasonable. Today is just not that day. How about we over react, show frustration and do things that normal fan bases do after a loss and that is to let off steam. The Coyote fan base actually has a problem with chronic under reaction. When I was leaving the dome today I saw way too many smiles on faces wearing Coyote gear. This is the only sports team/program that I have ever liked where the fans do not seem to care or show their frustrations after a loss. When I come in after this type of loss and this type of season I don't want to read that everything will be ok. I want to read other people's frustrations because that is the best way to deal with anger or disappointment. When you don't hear frustrations it comes off as that many people just don't care that much and that is the worst characteristic a fan base can have. I believe in celebrating the wins and also mourning the losses.
The Jackrabbit fan base might have 1 arrogant SOB for every 5 fans. I would rather have that type of a fan base and own the state then have a "Coyote Nice" fan base where no one really cares that much and just accepts losing to SDSU time after time after time after time after time. Oh can I say that about 20 more times.
I can think of one way to get the administrations attention when it comes to the need to get this football problem against the Jacks turned around. If everyone would buy their ticket and everyone for one game (SDSU in 2019) decided to not show up and the stadium was completely empty that would be a hell of a statement. Or better yet if people want to make another statement they can all wear a brown paper bag over their head like the New Orleans Saints used to wear and it could say "will not remove until we beat SDSU in football, been wearing since 2000". I actually like the second idea better. Writing this message is actually making me laugh my ass off.
As far as a suggestion I will have one to fix the problems of this season at a later time but I don't feel like being very rational. By the way is being rational accepting this SDSU problem and moving on without some type of change or is that being irrational. I would think doing nothing would actually be more irrational.
