I've been wondering how a Pizza Ranch would ever use that entire space. Thanks for bringing this to light. I guess it's moot now anyways according to a post above. I can't believe a bar across the street from a D1 venue and largely upper classmen housing can't figure out a way to succeed. I understand why Howler's failed, horrible management, but it seems like a no brainer for someone else to swoop in and have success. Pro's seemed to be doing pretty well during the short window I had to go there once I was 21. I'm not so sure about the Pizza Ranch thing being false. Some one who'd I consider to be reliable told me that work was already being done on the inside. I'll sniff it out next time I'm over that way and see if anything's happening. Pizza Ranch is going into Howlers. I spoke with the couple that bought it and they confirmed it.

Pizza Ranch also appears to have 45 job openings online for a Vermillion location.
I would say its happening.

Guess so. I just remembered Chase having that interaction last month so dug it up to post it.

Is it the same people who own the 41st street PR in SF?

As I was reading the Zimmer story I was like "this guy has no clue" as he has USD at 6th. I have the Yotes in the top 3 with NDSU at the top, as they have earned it until somebody knocks them off. Just kind of shaking my head as I read on.
Click on Jay Elsen's article. Boom! USD in the three slot. Jay knows what he is talking about. Both had SDSU in the #2 spot which I am fine with though I think everybody is underestimating just how much the Jacks have lost on offense.

From 2-6 could be very interchangeable. So much depends on who you play where and when in this league.

Glad to see the conversation turn back to football instead the great Pizza Ranch debate! I agree that 2-6 are very interchangeable, but we still can all take our own shot at the Pre-Season rankings along with which Yotes are deserving of pre-season honors. So here are my picks for what they are worth.
1. North Dakota State
2. Northern Iowa 3. South Dakota
4. South Dakota State 5. Illinois State
6. Youngstown State 7. Southern Illinois 8. Missouri State
9. Western Illinois 10. Indiana State
Offensive Pre-Season USD Candidates: Shamar Jackson - WR Tanner Anderson - OL
Defensive Pre-Season USD Candidates: Darin Greenfield - DL Nathan Schultz - DL Andrew Gray - DB Phillip Powell - DB

Here’s my rankings (listed by MVFC record):
1. NDSU 11-0 (8-0) 2. Illinois state 9-2 (7-1) 3. South Dakota 8-3 (6-2) 4. SDSU 7-4 (5-3) 5. YSU 7-4 (5-3) 6. Northern Iowa 5-6 (3-5) 7. Missouri State 4-7 (2-6) 8. Southern Illinois 4-7 (2-6) 9. Western Illinois 1-10 (1-7) 10. Indiana state 2-9 (0-8)
I printed the pdf from the MVFC website and picked every game. I have USD losing to KSU, NDSU, and YSU. Could see us losing in Brookings and flip flopping with SDSU...but could also see us winning in Youngstown or losing in Ogden.
