Interesting, South Dakota passes to North Dakota, Streveler to Dresser.

I just saw the Winnipeg punter kneel in his end zone for a safety. Canadian football is weird.

This game is somewhat frustrating with all the delays, but so far Streveler is playing great. All the motion on offense is really confusing to watch. Would it be wrong to describe it as organized chaos?

Chris throws 2nd TD about 22 yds then 2nd lightning delay. Score BC 19 WBB 14 almost end of first half.

Disappointing ending to the game with Edmonton kicking a field goal with 8 seconds left. Streveler's line: 15 of 21 for 178 yards with 3 TDs and 2 int. He had some nice runs too, picking up a couple of first downs. All in all a solid first game performance seeing he was the first true rookie to start a game in the CFL since 1994. It looked to me that they didn't let him take many shots downfield in the passing game and stayed mostly with a short, underneath attack. Wonder if that was by design. I stayed up late for the whole thing; being retired has its perks and was semi-surprised how much I enjoyed watching. There's some crazy stuff going on in Canadian football, but once you get used to it, it's a lot of fun. I'll definitely be back for more. Go Bombers!

Had to watch the game on tape the next day, but definitely a very good debut for Streveler. After watching a CFL game from beginning to end, I now have some questions. The game moves quickly and there are some interesting rules that help keep the game exciting. Do the high schools and colleges in Canada play by similar CFL rules or do they play by rules similar to ours? Since most of Canada is uses the metric system, why do they still use yards and not meters? Is there any chance we can get the objectionable conduct penalty south of the border, I really liked how that was used. Looking forward to watching more Bomber games and seeing how our former Yote continues to shine!

Chris did have a very good debut! Was disappointing that the BBs let EEs go 90 yds in last 330 to tie game with TD & 2 pt conversion otherwise BBs would have won but EEs QB was like CFL MVP last year. Chris was responsible for at least 5 first downs running too. I thought on first int the defender took ball away from receiver and 2nd int was on 2 pt try. So excellent stuff by Strev against a very good team!
