It's been amazing how many recruits have been on campus for a junior day, received an offer or have generally been hearing from our staff. It seems like they just keep getting better at the recruiting game. I would love to post all of the tweets I have seen, but it would take way too long.

I notice that many of these players have offers to the usual suspects in the MVFC and maybe a MAC or two, but often times there will be some random Eastern school tossed into the mix most notably an Ivy or two. So my question: put yourself in the place of a Midwestern high schooler and would you choose a Midwestern state school or would you succumb to the temptation to go to someplace like a Cornell or Yale?

The Ivy League schools can't give athletic scholarships, so you have to be one heck of student to get financial aid there. Now I'm sure that they can put together some lucrative financial aid packages for football players, but it's still a huge financial commitment to go east compared to a full ride at a MVFC school.
