So much for the idea of beating a good team 3 times myth. They never bring that up when it is the Jacks that are the team trying to do it. I am sure we will hear that plenty from now until the game is over tomorrow now that it is the Coyotes trying to do it.
Western stinks and so far the teams that live and die on their offense are the ones dying so far in the tourney. It is going to be a tough one tomorrow for the Coyotes. Anyone's game but if the Jacks win it will be a tough pill to swallow. A very tough pill. If it is a win it could be argued to be the most successful year in program history.

Don't compare having to beat western 3 times with having to beat this state team 3 times. Beating this team 3 times would be damn impressive. It's a shame that most likely only one of these teams will make the big dance because both deserve it.

One thing we learned yesterday from WIU - running an offense where everyone stands in one spot, pass the ball twice out front, then jack up a 23 footer (whether defended or not), does not seem to work against SDSU. Or anyone probably.
FWIW, Charlie Creme has the rabbits in as an at-large again as the last team in. So it is possible to get 2 teams in, but I'm pretty skeptical...

Can someone call Mr Creme and tell him to put the Jackrabbits firmly in the field. Maybe that takes away 10% of their motivation for today's game.
