This is just my opinion of what I have seen so far in regards to the replacements in the Athletic Development department. Whether you liked working with Erica, Chris Kassin, or John Schemmel....they were engaged. They made an attempt to get to know people, introduce themselves to you, very responsive to donors, etc. While I am not a "whale" donor, I contribute my fair share and have been a very willing donor of auction items for the Calling All Coyotes. Big difference from year's past and so far this year....the former group asked. I did not know Erica from Adam, but she made a point of introducing herself. I only know the names of the new group because their names are on the goyotes.com staff directory. This may come across as a knock on this new crew, but I want to see the Howling Pack and this event do well and if our fundraising people do not even try and meet the donors that already give, that's an issue.

Totally agree. I never understood the purge (Kassin left of his own accord), but my experience to date with new staff has been underwhelming.

Our season tickets for basketball are right next to the Cortrust area and I have been able to watch the "new crew" for an entire basketball season... My biggest observation, from afar, has been that the "new crew", while friendly, do not have the dynamic personalities that Kassin and Erica had and do not work-the-crowd those two did. Kassin would go out of his way to come over and shake your hand regardless of whether you were a small donor or a huge donor. And Erica was the same way. They made you feel special. It may take some time for the "new crew" to get comfortable enough to do that... but then again, can we afford to wait for them to get up-to-speed?

In my opinion, it's not a matter of being comfortable-it's a matter of effort. Their job is fundraising and if they are not making at least an effort to get know the donors that is an issue. I took the effort to introduce myself whether I was comfortable or not and I'm not asking anyone for a contribution.

I agree with all that was said above. Was just having this conversation with some buddies the other night.

I thought the HP did an excellent job during the SLT.

The past couple of years there has been an online auction for the event, but I can't find one this year. Does anyone have a clue about this?

They have been posting regular info about the event on social media but nothing about the silent auction. Great way to raise $ from those not able to attend in person.

I would certainly like to partake in the online auction if they have it this year.

Also, who replaced Erica and Chris?

Hilary Sosinski and Jeff Seagren. Also Andy Carr replaced Jon Schemmel. Was wondering about this segment of the Auction too: placed a question to the Howling Pack, have not heard back yet.
