www.goyotes.com/news/2018/5/9/softball-omaha-advances-past-usd.aspxWell, crap. Bummer. Well, this season looks to have been a rebuilding one, with numerous new transfers and freshmen. The non-con schedule was also the toughest in the Summit League, or at least right on-par with NDSU's. It didn't come together this year, but I feel good about the program going forward. Jessica Rogers had a POY candidate season, and USD put a Summit-League-best 4 players on the All-Conference First Team. I think that the offense was there this year, but the pitching was lacking. Hopefully some of the freshmen and transfers can develop.

Overall, kind of a disappointing season. The schedule was insanely tough; if that's good or bad I don't know. I agree with your assessment: didn't seem to have any trouble scoring, but had issues with preventing runs. I would think this would be a good situation for any pitching recruits looking for innings.
