I never understood my dad when he told me that no man was irreplaceable when I was growing up. I always thought I was special. However, I now understand what he was teaching me. He told me what he learned during WW2... when a man you thought was irreplaceable went down...and a new man had to stand in his place. The new man didn't do the job in the same way...the unit had to adapt...but after it adapted...it functioned just the same. There's a MASH episode where Radar is gone and Klinger has to take his place. Everybody gets upset because Klinger can't do the job the way the infamous Radar could do it. However, after a little patience...letting Klinger get his groove...he did it with the same efficiency....just in a different way. I'm not speaking for my son here...he's good...he's tough...and he came to USD to win a championship...so that's what he's going to do. You have my guarantee of that! I'm more making a point that we probably will be a different team next year...doing things in different ways because we'll have different leaders...BUT!!! Isn't that what makes perpetual winners??? Being able to adapt? We need to have a little patience and let our new leaders grow into their role. I trust them all! GO YOTES!!! ...smell the win!

I assume you are addressing the notion that the Coyotes are a one man team and now that he is graduated we are going to suck? I've been saying it for years, that while Strev is a very special player, our offense becomes more dynamic and harder to defend with a more pure passer in the QB slot. Football is the ultimate team game, it takes a team to win. I think our opponents around the MVFC are in for a surprise this season.

Conference was tough enough without the Coyotes throwing their hat into the ring too. I know fans of other teams, especially of the bunnies, were hoping and praying that Streveler would get injured last season and that would mean a total collapse of our team . Didn't happen with the dback fiasco, young players stepped up and did a tremendous job, and it won't happen now. We're developing depth, have many returning starters a year older and more experienced and I look for us to be better this season than last. Opposition fans are going to be sorely disappointed when they figure out how good our quarterback play is this season and how much our defense and o line, and just the whole team in general, has matured.

Yep.
