Chris hit 19'2.75" in the pole vault on Saturday at Howard Wood Dakota Relays. That jump is #1 in the nation in the NCAA this year, #2 in the US college or professional and #3 in the world! I hope as many of you as possible were able to witness this or if you haven't seen him yet make an effort to do so sometime in the next two years. He is simply amazing to watch.

That's pretty close to the height that took the gold in the 2016 summer games. Conditions can make a huge difference in pole vaulting but, that's a legit jump.

Obviously ecstatic for Chris but extremely happy Derek has stayed around to coach these guys. What a tribute to him

By reading the article in the Argus Leader, it's quite apparent that Derek Miles and Chris Nilson have a very high level of respect for each other. What an amazing duo!
