Wow, this board has gone silent. I’m hoping it’s because everyone is working and making money. Lol I’m really excited to see how this plays out. I think it’s going to be one heck of a game. Two very evenly matched teams? I don’t know but will by Saturday night around 9:15 pm. Excited here as well. I have a good feeling about this game. I just think the team is due to play a complete game. One thing that worries me is the home field advantage this week. I could see there being a pretty big drop off in attendance. Hard to say since we never have night games. The out of town fans might not be thrilled about leaving town at 10pm to drive home. And the student section could be pretty unimpressive since its whatever they call homecoming up at Brookings Community College |

I’m expecting students to be gone. Leave at half. Whatever, it is what it is. I’m no longer caring or concerned with student participation.
I’m anxious to see what a night game does for the rest of the fan base. I to am concerned because I don’t see the normal banter, even on here. What a great opportunity to take advantage of. I know we are having a roast hog at our tailgate and the weather looks decent. Football games going in the parking lot on TV, etc. But past experience tells me a smaller crowd. I don’t get that. We have a great staff Nd a darned good team. This is the product many have been waiting for. We have arrived in the sense there’s not a game we can’t win. I wished everyone would see it that way.

This is payback time. We physically dominated last years game in their house and lost due to turnovers and a VERY questionable call on Kai’s late fumble that ultimately cost us the game. Inside knowledge...our boys are pumped for this game and look forward to taking it to the pussy cats, err panthers.

I heard it is Hobo days in bunny land so unfortunately a majority of the students go to that😡 I don’t understand it but like Yote forever said, can’t worry about the students....this team does deserve support from everyone else though!!

Like I've stated many times: we always play UNI tough. If UNI got an inflated image of themselves it was after they left the NCC because back in the day it was always a toss up when we, or for that matter any of the Dakota schools played them.
I look forward to the game. I know the team will be pumped. Not too sure about the crowd, but I'll be ready to not only "refuse to lose" but cheer them on to a big win!!

I can't say I know what the average fan in attendance on a regular day looks like. I would expect that the Vermillionaires will be in attendance and those who come from Sioux Falls are dedicated enough as is to make this trip. I anticipate a pretty standard crowd, minus the student section. They've shown they can't make it to 5 PM so starting at 6 is going to make for minimal students in the crowd.
UNI fans finally started a thread for us on their board about 3 hours ago. Don't worry, the first post outright states they have the better team whether they win or lose.

I can't say I know what the average fan in attendance on a regular day looks like. I would expect that the Vermillionaires will be in attendance and those who come from Sioux Falls are dedicated enough as is to make this trip. I anticipate a pretty standard crowd, minus the student section. They've shown they can't make it to 5 PM so starting at 6 is going to make for minimal students in the crowd. Quick check on tickets available shows sections C through G sold out, and just tickets in the corners of the end sections. I'll be honest - I'm surprised by that. A home game after D-Days can be a quick turn-around for us 'less-in-shape-tailgaters'.
