I'm so damn excited for this one. Ever since we joined the MVFC the UNI game has always been a dog fight. Combine that with the night game atmosphere and my hatred towards Farley, this is going to be a good one.

We have really improved since Weber State. I’m very impressed with our ability to battle through adversity and fight. That being said, we need to play a complete game in order to win this week.
I’ve always been impressed by UNIs ability to take advantage of opportunities that will ruin your day. We had them on their heels last year and they punched us right in the mouth when we had turnovers. Last years game was a deflating loss and I believe the team remembers that.

Anyone planning on wearing black? Does a bear shit in the woods? Does a one legged duck swim in a circle?

Going to be a great day in Vermillion. 18 holes at the Bluffs, afternoon tailgating, and a great game to cap it off.
I think UNI comes ready to play as this is a critical game for them, but on the flip side is it's obviously a critical game for us as well. Happy to hear that seats are selling well. Thinking our fan base is going to be up and energized if anything for the novelty of a night game in the Dome and that will be the difference. The entire day to "prepare" should result in a lot of fans ready to get loud I hope.
I'm calling a close USD victory. Within 5 points. 31-27 range.

I thought the posts on the arrogance of Panther forum was exaggerated until I went to their site. Here is one if their posts reviewing the rest of their season: “There are three wins there (losses to SDSU, ysu, and one of the Illinois schools). May only be two wins if Missouri state keeps playing well.” The arrogance of assuming a win in our house pi$$es me off. Our guys need to teach these guys a lesson on respect.

How can they possibly be worried about YSU and Missouri State, but not a road game against us? Blows my mind. They have Missouri State at home even. I hope we blow them out, but realistically still sticking with my 4 point win prediction.

If I’m an OL or DL I would be take that as a personal challenge.

I have a personal feeling on top of being a Yote fan on how badly I want us to whoop that @**!!! They need to be knocked down off their high horse from top to bottom!!!

My fav is definitely the first post in the USD thread, where the poster says that UNI is the better team whether they win or lose. Like....the poster understands they very well could lose, perhaps even expecting a loss more than a win, but still would never think it's because USD is the better team.

As to respect, or lack thereof, from fans of other teams, we must earn that respect by consistently finishing at or near the top of the league. We are definitely heading in that direction with this coaching staff and the players that they are bringing in to the program. While it can be fun to be the underdog at time, I'd rather be the team expected to win.

He’s just trying to get in good graces of their fans. I don’t think he comes to our board any more.

In comparing USD's starting OL and DL to the pussy cat's OL and DL, the following are the averages:
UNI OL 302.8 lbs. USD 286 lbs. UNI DL 273 lbs. USD 262.5 lbs
Height USD OL is on average an inch taller USD DL is on average 5 inches taller
