In comparing USD's starting OL and DL to the pussy cat's OL and DL, the following are the averages: UNI OL 302.8 lbs. USD 286 lbs. UNI DL 273 lbs. USD 262.5 lbs Height USD OL is on average an inch taller USD DL is on average 5 inches taller Do they have a bunch of fire hydrants on the DL? 10lbs heavier, but 5 inches shorter? |

Just love reading the anti-uni comments here as game time nears. I could care less if these pillars of FCS football had something to do with our beloved USD getting into the MVFC. Good for them. You know dang well that they felt it would be any easy victory every year for them to have us to punch around. My personal animus and disdain for everything panther goes back to the mid 60s to when they prowled off to big sports land and left the real old NCC. They were always cocky and arrogant in football and basketball during those years. To my best recollection I believe the Coyotes more than held their own against them. You can bet they hated coming to Vermillion and playing in the likes of the old New Armory and on the sacred grass of Inman Field. You know they were from a big fancy town like Cedar Falls. Big deal. Iowa and Iowa State thought even less of them then than they do now. It was hardly a university. If the state of Iowa had any brains it would have been closed down back then.
You gotta love the attitude over at their precious little message board that hardly anybody even looks at anymore. Visit lowly SD on a Saturday night? Easy win there. Well the Coyotes are gonna have a lot to say about that less than 24 hours from now. Aren't they? I think the good guys in Vermillion Red and White have serious memories of how they just gifted the win to them last season in their rapidly aging cornfield dome. They are really not gonna like a beautifully renovated Dakota Dome in the very near future while they will be barely able to light theirs. Don't be surprised at all if the Yotes just blow them up and out much like the beat down put on the North Dakota also rans last season.
So here we go Coyotes, here we go!! Just knock 'em around to the tune of about 45 to 17 or so. See ya unipanthers. Enjoy becoming an also ran in the best FCS conference period. You'll probably even have trouble with the skirmishing doves out of Grand Forks. The Dakotas have blown by you and there will not be any catching up.
The One and Only knows. I may come completely out of retirement. Oh oh.

Not wrong. I thought it was light as well but didn’t go back and do the math. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter. They are who they are. And I think they are pretty darned good. Waiting for the day we are dominant but trending the right way. They’re maturing.

I knew it was mid to late 70s but did not feel it was necessary to nail down the exact year. I was too busy ripping them to bother. I can still remember vividly the jackies getting off to a big lead against South Dakotas team on Dakota Day 1968. After that things did not turn out too well for state college. Like I said, The One and Only Knows. |

Just checked PatheticPantherNation again. Almost 11 am central time and no post there on this game since yesterday afternoon. I guess they have already moved on to whoever they are playing next week. Are they hosting sdsc? Good luck with that one too uni. We'll probably have to pull for you.

Say what you want about UNI being a total dud of a school, but they absolutely have our number. It’s hard to disrespect a school that is 5-2 against you (soon to be 6-2) since 2010.

Simple. 3 turnovers resulted in 3 panther scores. Zero pass rush too. Out played big time. Better team won tonight. Playoff chance really slim now.
