...No clue. Are you just going to keep us hanging? I didn't want to hang around. Just a quick visit to see what was being said about your upcoming game at YSU. Anyway, I figured many would know -- flagshipu got it. Yotes doesn't like the YSU mascot but they deserve some credit for the unique mascot. I don't think there's another "Penguins" -- at least not in Division I. Sorry, kiyoat, my reference to Ice Palace was supposed to inject some humor but it missed the mark badly (my defective humor button ... not a problem with the readers). So I'll claim a "never mind" on that one! Actually, I think "Penquins" is a cool nickname, no pun intended it just happened, for the uniqueness factor. I also like "Sycamores" for some reason, but the best in the conference in my opinion is "Leathernecks". |

I will follow the game from back home here, but honestly, it's hard for the fan base to get excited for this one. Just hoping to come out with the W and move on to the Bison at home.

This is a must win...bottom line!! Unfortunately it’s on the road and won’t be easy but we have to pull it off! I am confident whatever adjustments needed to be made were made this week! We are playing outside, hopefully we practiced outside and the boys need to be pumped and ready. We can’t afford 1 bad quarter! Go Yotes!!!!

Looking forward to the trip. Get the win and we’re 3-1 with the buffalo butts coming to The Dome. Don’t play worrying about making mistakes but rather play with your hair on fire and wreck less abandon. NDSU has the choke collar on and we having nothing to lose.

Obviously this is a game that has a whole lot riding on it. One thing is I don't think it's any big deal that it's outside. Play your normal game and things should be fine. Some are making it sound like there's a major blizzard on tap, but my research shows highs in the mid 50s, lows in the upper 30s with a chance of scattered showers. So what...football weather. As for YSU: they have a few of the best players in the conference in McCaster their running back and maybe the best offensive linemen (with an unpronounceable name) in the conference who's been all conference for something like 7 or 8 seasons now or so it seems. Key words: a few. I think they struggle with depth and that their weakness' match up with our strengths. Another thing, and this is my opinion, but with a coach of Pelini's temperment if things go well players will buy, and stay dialed in, but if they start to go south the entire team can very quickly tune out. It might have started in their very first game with a loss to Butler which I think everyone assumed would be a YSU rout. I don't know where the Penquin's heads are at, but I hope it's the latter. At least I think they might be leaning that way. Get ahead early and they might mail it in. Looking forward to attending the game in picturesque Youngstown, Ohio the garden spot of America. Here's hoping I don't run into any of my ex in-laws.

What's the line for this game? I'd guess YSU by 3 or 4.
No need to rehash the LOS concerns, so I think the biggest key is getting out to a lead fast/early. No FG's when it's 1st and goal, and no lethal TO's early. Get a few early scores, and I think the Penguins fold (for the game and the rest of the year).
