That's the state of this team's line/run game. Terrible.

Defense picks the team right back up with a 4-and-out. Great to see that.

Need to make some big plays in the 4th quarter. Down two scores, need to get things going.

Good field position. We are going to need to score on every offensive possession just to be sure.

The defense has stepped up in a big way in the 3rd quarter. Offense is being given every chance to make bring this one back.

I will feel a little better if we get 7 on this drive. Got good field position. Needs to happen now if we're going to pull this out.

I don't know if you all have been watching football all day, watched Gameday, but this Tyler kid from Purdue is a true inspiration. Student who has battled cancer 3 times now. 20 years old and is in hospice care, still found the will to go to this Ohio State v Purdue game.
Folks, this is what it's all about. This is what life is all about. Hats off to that kid.

Pick 6. Game over. I'm ready to start questioning the capability of this coaching staff.

In the spirit of stating the obvious, the D gave us every opportunity in the third quarter. The offense only converted a TD on an incredibly short field. 4 returning started on the OL? I don't get it. Three tries for one yard. SMH. I guess the playoffs begin next week for us. Sigh.

You can’t return 4 starters and at best be inconsistent and at worst a serious step back from decent performance last year

Boys, we're average. We've always been an average school at football. I don't know how to turn that around.
The administration has done everything they have needed to do. Steal away and hire one of the best coaches in the Valley. Make the investment in scholarships, resources, and FCOA for our athletes so we can compete on the recruiting trail. Build one of the best sports performance facilities in the upper Midwest. Now we have Dome upgrades and expansion going on. Still we are average, and we lose games like this.
I don't know what else to say.

I suppose I could accept it if we weren't trying, like we did back in the old days. But we're really trying now and we get the same results.
Oooffff. I guess let's just go get the Bison next week.

The defense was, overall, competent. They gave up 22 points, and that includes the fumble on the third play of the game deep in our own territory. Obviously our problems don't lie on that side of the ball.
On offense we have a junior QB, who won games as both a freshman and sophomore, and looks very capable. We're loaded at WR. We return 4 starters on the OL. RB is the inexperienced position, but it's also the easiest position to compensate for a lack of experience. Why can we not score points? This side of the ball is a colossal embarrassment. There's no excuse for what we keep seeing. Someone deserves to lose their job.

Last year we had a run game coordinator and a passing game coordinator...this year an offensive coordinator. Did we have more than one person reading the defense and calling better plays? Did we have better athletes? Etc etc. I don't have the answers, but I do not believe we are at the point of firing staff in my opinion. Look at it this way,be could go back to the old OC where we ran on 1st and 2nd down and called a bubble screen on 3rd. I will stick with what we have now any day of the week.
