Tough place to win?

That was not our agreement, SDSU.

You’ve heard of the altitude advantage at mile-high stadium? Laramie is almost a mile and a half. Plus the attendance is pretty good.

Ehh, always a good day when the Jacks lose. You guys are getting soft.

Ehh, always a good day when the Jacks lose. You guys are getting soft. Agreed. We can earn our own backup plan into the tourney, they can go winless.

I'm somewhat surprised that they lost although I realize Laramie is a brutal place to play and not just because of the altitude. So exactly what's the deal? When I'm actually OK with a bunny win they go and lose. It's just confusing.

Win or lose, their OOC schedule will mitigate the damage to their and our RPI. On the bright side they are done with non conference play, so there is no reason to root for them anymore. RPI is relative in round-robin conference scheduling. We now can just focus on winning the conference. As far as RPI we now need our OOC opponents to win games.

Scores from the first weekend of Summit Women's BB:
Denver over Omaha 95-68 NDSU over PFW -----70-54 SDSU over WIU -----93-84 USD over NDSU -----67-41 UND over PFW ------79-60 ORU over Omaha ---71-56 WIU over Denver ---87-78
The only surprising outcome was WIU over Denver! WIU also had an impressive offensive showing in the loss to the Jacks, scoring 84. Have they been slow-playing us all in the non-conference? Maybe things have just taken time to gel with new players. Should be interesting...

We have so many options on offense maybe more than we have ever had its just there young so inconsistency has been a problem. Even this weekend our freshman PG who is going to be really good had 28 against the Jacks and then only had 2 against DU. On Defense we give a lot of different looks which really gives teams fits. Personally I'm not sure there is a coach in the league who gets more out of his players than JD.

Although my preference would have been that you beat the Jacks, it’s good to see the Leathernecks playing well. It’s too bad you guys waited until conference play to wake up... we all could have used the RPI boost....😉

WIU @ ORU today at 2 PM could be a good one. ORU has been offering free streaming of home games, just like USD. I’ll try to catch it if I get a chance.

68-64 ORU wins, presumably win defense. I haven’t watched yet...
