Macy goes with the last pick to Seattle. You mean Maci, as in Maci Morris from Kentucky. =)

Macy Miller is drafted. Congrats to her. That’s a really good indicator of the strength of the two SD women’s basketball programs.
It’s a big deal

Wow! Good for Macy. I’m guessing she makes the most of the opportunity.

Wait how is she going to play her 15th year for the Jacks and play in the WNBA both.

My post was to point out that Macy Miller did not go last picked in the 3rd round as steeled noted. It was a player by the same name, different spelling, from Kentucky.

Should also note I was kind of hoping for a Yote/Jackrabbit WNBA pairing in Dallas in the same vein as Goddert and Wentz, but not to be. That would have been pretty neat.

That was actually a mistake per the Argus Leader. Macy went #36. Maci didn’t get drafted. They announced it wrong. Had to have been a punch in the gut for her.

You put a lot of effort into being wrong by posting on this twice.

Actually, I read your post then googled WNBA draft and saw Rounds 1, 2, and 3 were done and that the 3rd round concluded with some gal named Maci. You should have seen me sweating. I looked like a Jackrabbit during finals week.
edit: Also my original post was not meant as any slight to Macy Miller as I think she is a star.

Good for the Macy! It is an honor to get drafted! That said, I would have preferred it wasn't to a team that is loaded with talent. It will be tough to make the roster there.
