Yes, congrats to the women and men for finding some light on what otherwise was a dark day for Coyotes athletics. My challenge to both teams is to get better and sink the hopes of both the NDSU and SDSU teams for next year when we take both conference championships. You can and will do it!

Women won Augie Twilight last night. Men finished 6th behind Augie, USF, and Cloud County Community College (Cornhuskers won). Side note - Cloud County CC runners placed 1st and 4th - got to think they left Sioux Falls with an offer from USD, Nebraska, etc.

XC Summit League Championships are this weekend in Fargo! Any Yotes who unfortunately live in the area should go out and support. Anyone who went in Verm two years ago can attest that XC championships are a blast.

While we're re-hashing the poor performance of our football team vs SDSU, we've completely ignored the fact that USD's women's cross country team just won the Summit League title. We beat favored SDSU by 5 points. Abby Ripperda led the effort with a 3rd place finish. Congratulations to these girls.

I also pointed out to my state friends that the Yotes VB team has beat them 17 straight matches dating back to 2015!!
