The forecast for the game tomorrow is a comfortable 78 degrees with no wind. It's nice to be able to go inside and warm up after tailgating.

The vocal minority (Internet Tough Guys) want to stick it to Bob, because there feelings got hurt. The reality is very different with most of there fan base. Last year when we were at Macomb, we talked to a lot of people that wished Bob was still coaching there, but also wished him success. He was well liked and they understand when "Opportunity Knocks".

I usually let others start the game week thread. It got to Thursday morning and there was nothing, so I started it up. Just didn't seem to be much interest in this game. That’s too bad too because this could be the best game of the year.

So how have dome renovations come along? Sky lodges and such, increased seating capacity, to what 12,000? Western has something in the works that shall be revealed next semester from what I have been told.

Western has something in the works that shall be revealed next semester from what I have been told. Keep us posted! It's great to see growth and improvement in the league. For some reason the game of the week in the MVFC is NDSU and it should be this one. I cant find a better match-up. It remains an even money pick at 5 Dimes with an over under of 66.5. Even money and a high scoring game! I hope Backsackdad is on target. The sheet tells us this is going to be a fun, and most likely, very exciting game. If the Yotes get their average day and hold the Leathernecks to under 300 yds a narrow victory is indicated. It will be easier to slow down the passing game because WIU gains so many passing yards/game. There wont be that many rushing chances to stop so the short yardage situations are critical for a positive 3rd down conversion rate today.

Although the season has been a letdown, it’s critically important that the Coyotes play well the last two games. It’s senior day and for most teams it’s an emotional day for sure. I remember mine clear as a bell and that was 40 years ago. But this team has been different. My gut feel is the seniors have been detached all year. Not sure I’m right but that’s my gut feel. There just hasn’t been any sort of fire burning, and that’s a critical element in my opinion.
It’s time for the underclassmen to establish what the future of this program is. Time will tell.

Western has something in the works that shall be revealed next semester from what I have been told. The plans are now final. There will be 10 suites in the middle portion of the field, and 16 loge boxes that will seat 6 fans in chairs plus a couple around a small table behind those chairs. There will be nothing like it that I’m aware of. Suites on top of the field with compromising seats for fans. And I think the loge boxes will be very affordable so many fans can try them for their own experience. When all is finished I don’t think capacity will be much more than 10,000. Just configured so much better. My hope is a lot of fans will make a pledge to help fund this. There needs to be more than a few big donors. I’m hopeful you’ll be so pumped when you see it you’ll want to be part of it. It’s going to be awesome. And remember EVERY GAME THE TEMP WILL BE 72 DEGREES.

Well said...I remember mine as well in what was an otherwise disappointing season, much like what the seniors are going through now. Let's hope they can pull together a good game today. I have a feeling that we will see some new faces out there these last two games with the new redshirt rule, combined with some injuries suffered recently.
