I just spent all day smoking a beautiful turkey. My kids refused to eat it and my wife says "I only like the white meat". So I have a wasted turkey here. Next year, I'm doing a ham.
At least I still have the wine and the beer flowing.

Any turkey you want to get rid of I'll be happy to take off your hands.

Just finished my 2nd Thanksgiving meal. I’ve had baked turkey, deep-fried turkey and honey-baked ham....
It’s all good.

Ham. I never eat turkey on Thanksgiving, enough of my family agrees so there's always a ham prepared.

I was a good boy at my lunch thanksgiving. I didn't have seconds. I didn't do so well at my supper thanksgiving at the other family... I blame the raspberry/blackberry pie. Food coma indeed.

*bump* A year later and still having three Thanksgiving meals...
Should we revisit the question in the OP?

Well, we did turkey again this year. Got the go ahead from management last week so bought the bird and put it in the fridge to unthaw. Smoked it on the Weber for 3 hours then finished it off on high heat in the oven. Perfect. Now we get to the best part, leftovers!
