I’m thinking about going down to the game. Anyone else out there restless like I am that would want to go if I decide to make the trip? Not me. Vermillion and Brookings is as far as I can roam from SF with all my kids activities. I'll PM you the next time I'm planning to go to the SCSC, though.

Also, I just saw that it is "kids night" so kids get in free. I assume that means anyone under 18. Just an FYI

Almost a week until the game, but I thought I'd start the thread, since there isn't much else going on in Coyote athletics (that interests me). Here is a link to the TigerBoard forum that will at some point contain their game thread: www.tigerboard.com/boards/list.php?board=3Looks like they have some discussion of WBB there, although it is in the "threaded" nested-outline style that is hard to follow (as opposed to "flat" style that most message boards use. Another ranked opponent, another big opportunity. They are 8-2 with losses to Green Bay (RPI 23) and Michigan (RPI 43). Their biggest wins were home tilts with Duke (RPI 46) and Quinnipiac (RPI 76). Thought I'd click on the Tigerboard forum just to see if any cat fans were commenting about their upcoming game with the Coyotes. Anybody else do that? I'd be better off trying to herd cats than to find out what they're stating about us. Guess I'm not an "Einstein" about how other fan boards are organized. Didn't think it would be so tough since ours is so easy!

Didn't think it would be so tough since ours is so easy! I haven't checked out theirs yet, but I have found out that some are really easy to navigate and others are total clusters. Almost seems the bigger the school the worse it is. Sometimes I think it might be because there are competing boards or some that only concentrate on a single sport. Summit and MVFC boards for the most part are well organized and easy to access, and you're right...ours is a breeze. Kudos to our mods and the others in the conference too for that matter.

Tigerboard has been around for a very long time, and I guess their users have grown accustomed to that “threaded” style of message board. It truly is hard to follow, especially if you aren’t used to it.
The trick is to look at the first post in each thread. That’s basically like the title of one of our threads. I haven’t seen a USD thread yet. Maybe there will be something Saturday. Otherwise there is always the Missouri WBB Twitter site. They will follow the game just like our women’s site does.
*edit: there is a thread there now. The OP (Original Post) is titled: "Missou WBB with a tough opponent tomorrow"

Watching the Mizzou-St. Louis game on replay a little has me thinking Hannah will be a big factor in this game. Cunningham and Smith are bigger physical guards that play inside-out, just like Ciara, and kind-of like the "prototype" player for a position-less system like ours. We aren't going to mismatch them much, other than with Hannah inside. Both ends of the court she could be our difference-maker in this one. JMO
Against a smaller team like St Louis, Missouri was getting good dribble-penetration and finishing well at the basket. Hannah can be a better wall against that in the lane. The thing that worries me the most is arc shooting, on both sides. It could be the difference if one team is hot and the other is not. I'm not very good at identifying defenses, but it looked like Missouri was using a zone of some kind for the early part of the game. I didn't watch the whole thing.
