Missed this yesterday. Hannah is really coming into her own, early in the season. She will be a force for us over the next three seasons!
"...She totaled 27 points, 11 blocks and 11 rebounds for the week...
...at Missouri State... Sjerven's stat line read 17 points, seven blocks and seven rebounds. She posted a new season best and was one point shy of her career high from her time at New Mexico....
...Sjerven leads the Summit League in blocked shots (19) and ranks second in field-goal percentage (54.5), third in steals (19) and seventh in rebounds (56). She sits 29th in the national rankings for blocked shots."

kwsn.com/podcasts/sports-talk-with-kwsn/5093/ciara-duffy-on-yotes-current-roll-recruitment-to-usd-jamaica-mission-trips/Completely missed this podcast interview with C. Duffy after her Summit AOTM award. Lots of good stuff in the interview. I really liked this exchange: I think Ms. Duffy just might have a career ahead of her in politics, the way she handled herself in that interview. Isn't she a Poli-Sci major anyway? *edit- later in the interview she said she is a Poli-Sci / History double-major, with plans on getting a Masters in History. I have a feeling we will be hearing about Ciara long after her playing days are over. I hope so.

I have to say I’m surprised AJ didn’t make a pitch to the 2016 Argus Leader South Dakota POY. Is it the West River thing? I wonder how many WR girls he has recruited.
I wish John had asked what her other offers were. Obviously she is too modest to bring that up herself, but I have to think she had other D-1 interest.

I don't know why they kept asking that question to Ciara. Her sister was on the team, which is probably a big reason for her decision. I also don't think her family has any ties to sdsu or agriculture. As to why they didn't offer her, who knows but it was a terrible decision. Ciara should be up there for POY.

I don't know but I'd guess it was more of a, "Sorry, guys, but I'm not going to come to Brookings and play against my sister, so we don't have to waste each other's time," thing from Ciara than a, "We don't think you can play for us," thing from SDSU.
At least I'd hope that's what it was.

Sorry I haven’t kept up with this thread, having started it... the accolades came pretty fast and furious at the end of the season. Really an amazing group of women.
Since Allison is the lone senior, I’ll just say I am thankful we will get to see her play one or several more games in A Coyote uniform. Regardless of where and when.

I really don't think you have anything to apologize for. You've done a yeoman's job on this board all season.
