Emily is living in Vermillion, works in one of the offices at USD, I think maybe admissions, and is a volunteer coach for the track team. She's able to use the facilities as well as being tutored by Derek still. Sponsored by Nike too, so she has to wear Nike gear at meets while the Coyotes are dressed in Adidas gear.

The men finished 3rd and the women finished 2nd at the outdoor championships. It would be nice to see the men get back to competing for conference championships, but it appears that the focus has changed to producing national meet qualifiers at the expense of a deep roster.

Does anyone know if there are on-line viewing options available to watch the NCAA T&F finals? Looks like there is a good deal of coverage. Here is the T&F schedule on the GoYotes.com website. It has links for all the coverage. Live streams on ESPN3, some live stuff on ESPN and ESPN2, live stats links from NCAA, etc.

Way to go Chris! Another National Championship and a national meet record at 19' 6 1/4" to boot. Coach Miles, Chris and the rest of the USD pole vault crew are definitely something special. Go Yotes!
