We just landed some exciting talent in the last 24 hours!
You're spot on with that. There certainly is a lot of firepower in this new group of recruits. Archambault was one of, if not the, top players in South Dakota a few years back, Anderson seems like he's a Chisom type player with a bit more scoring capability and Fuller...1st team All-American says enough. With the three experienced players coming off their redshirt year, it will be interesting to see how quickly they can mesh next season. Coach Lee sure did a great job of mining his Arizona connections for talent.
Is Lee going to go through 3 signing classes without recruiting a single US high school senior? Please correct me if I'm wrong on that. It's also odd just how many of his recruits have been transfers.
If you're going to throw away conventions and forge your own path you better be able to sell that plan and show some results.
I'm not sold.
SDSU had the conference player of the year fresh out of a juco, NDSU had a great player in Shahid, and where would UND have been without Stewart just to name a few. Mooney wasn't too shabby either. If they can play who cares when or where they come from? With the huge number of players entering the transfer portal each season maybe a coach is afraid of losing younger players if they're not instantly satisfied. Could this be the new "Moneyball", college basketball edition, we're looking at because these older players don't have as many options and are more locked in? Just another way of looking at it in my opinion.
