The Coyote men's basketball team is off to a red-hot start to the season. Bring a friend and get rowdy on a Friday night in the SCSC. This team needs Coyote Nation in FULL FORCE for the home opener!

When I was a student, a bunch of us were signing up for "Contiki Visas" in the (old) CSC just to get a friggin free tee-shirt. You know how much beer you can buy on that credit limit? Bad idea. But we did it for the tee shirt.
Now days students can LOAD UP on all kinds of sweet Coyote swag with all the give-aways from the marketing dept. And the free food. That's particularly tempting for hungry college students. It's unreal. I hope they realize what they have, and get to the SCSC.

This is HUGE! USD has secured a larger than usual number of lower bowl tickets for the Summit League Basketball Tournament. The deadline to secure yours is December 4th. For years we've heard Coyote Nation's desire for more tickets in the lower bowl.. we listened! Let's paint the PREMIER RED!

Question is: Where are the located? If they're behind the basket in the corners...no thanks. I'll stick in the first row, upper deck at midcourt. Good perspective from up there.

From the release statement: "We have secured tickets in sections 106, 107 and similar sections. All of these tickets are in the lower bowl..." I'm not sure if similar sections means sections close to 106 and 107, or similar in that they are in the corners. I believe that 107 has been the USD corner for a number of years. The thing I like about it is that you would be in parts of the lower bowl that many of your neighbors would be Yote fans, rather than surrounded by Jacks. JMO.

The university went out of their way to try to assist fans getting tickets in the lower bowl because people have been complaining about how the only tickets available are upper bowl and for some that is too far away from the action. So I sure hope people can be thankful for this effort and reciprocate with support.

I’ve also been told this is a pretty big deal for Lee and Plitzuweit. My guess is that’s why the email came from them. So IMO if we want them to feel like this is a great place to work, let’s give them some support.

It would be a bad look to complain about no lower bowl tickets for years and then turn around and have to give tickets back the the SF sports authority to sell. Buy them up!!

For the record, the SF Sports Authority no longer runs the ticketing. The Summit League took it over when they moved their headquarters to SF.

If they are the same type of corner seats that have always been available then having more of them isn't all that special. Our administration is doing the best they can, but Douple needs to do the right thing and have every seat up for grabs every year. You can't call it a neutral site while letting people keep their same seats 8 years running.

I think the point is that if there are 1k new fans in red in addition to the 500-1k already there it won’t feel so one sided. Would it be better if they did a full re-seat every 4 or 5 years? Sure. But this is the best solution we have right now.
