Links for the tournament: (article)(Bracket)(match links)Looks like all matches will be streamed, and live stats provided. I'm hoping they try to get the title match on ESPN3, like they tried last year, unsuccessfully.

Ouch. I was hoping Omaha would end up getting the 3-seed in the tournament, because I didn’t want to have to have the Yotes play both them and Denver back-to-back. Mavs win in 4 sets, the last 3 in extra points.

Afraid of that happening. While it's a great achievement to run through the conference undefeated, sometimes a loss is good for the soul and relieves some of the pressure.

While I’m disappointed in the semifinal loss, It doesn’t detract in any way from the amazing and historic season they accomplished. Not only did they win a crap-ton of matches, but they also enthralled and inspired their fans to come out and watch them.
I think people will look back on this season as a turning point in developing a volleyball culture in Coyote fans, and in the state. Building a program takes time, but we have momentum and the wind in our sails.
Great job, ladies.
(And BTW, they will absolutely play in the postseason, whether it’s the NCAA or the VB version of the WNIT.)

I totally agree with you kiyoat and I think USD has a great argument to get an At Large Bid to to the big show. Let's cross our fingers.

Does anyone know of any bracketology sites for the NCAA volleyball tournament? Are we projected in the field? List of all automatic qualifiers, etc?
My guess is that if there is anything out their, kiyoat will be person to chase it down.

ESPN doesn’t do a bracketology for VB, but there are some good amateur (well-informed and detailed) attempts at the VolleyTalk message board. Good information there, if you can sift through all the frequently updated threads. (Big site with lots of posters) From what I can ascertain, the general opinion on USD is that we are maybe a 50/50 deal. Depends on what the committee weighs more heavily. Our RPI is good enough, but the lack of a top-50 win could hold us back.

The poster that created it has been doing detailed bracketology predictions for the last 7 years, with fairly accurate results. (He lists his missed seeds and bubble teams for each year) We are shown as being the last team out. So right on the bubble:
