Thought I'd start the thread. Yesterday a new WBB Charlie Creme Bracketology came out Yotes #8 seed playing #9 Notre Dame in the Eugene(Oregon) regional. That would be tough, but if we do even better, a 7-seed would be SWEET. South Carolina: 2-seed Missouri State: 5-seed Minnesota: 6-seed (ha) Drake: 8-seed Green Bay: 12 Seed

Crazy to think that they could get a better seed than a team that won the national championship 2 years ago

Long ways to go, but the Coyotes look tough so far. That Missouri State game is going to be a great benchmark game. I was impressed how they put away and having MSU at home is huge.

This early in the game, the RPI is very inaccurate, and is based on very little data. Basically your strength of schedule is the whole story. With that having been said, ... it's still fun to look at it. Don't expect our RPI to stay this high once we start conference play, but you want to start high. Dec 3 RPIs (simulated from Warren Nolan.com) 2. Missouri State ---(7-1) #4 SOS 10. Creighton ------(6-1) #36 SOS 15. South Dakota (7-1) #3918. Drake -----------(6-2) #21 20. Ohio State ------(4-3) #3 24. South Carolina--(8-1) #76 27. SDSU -----------(4-3) #13 56. Green Bay 73. Northern Illinois (3-4) #41 80 North Dakota ----(6-2) #174

now up to #9 RPI (link)This is insane. We obviously aren't the #9 team in the country, but this is how you play the RPI game. Schedule teams that win, and also schedule tough. It's essentially "incestuous scheduling" with circular logic. In order to reap the benefits, though, you do have to win some or many of those tough games, so nice job, ladies!

I think the WBB team has already made a solid case for an at-large bid, even just nine games in. Outstanding. Now there are just a few more small loose ends to tie up: 1. Play a top-5 SEC team in the most hostile environment in the country (#1 in attendance) 2. Battle our arch-rivals three times for the conference 3. Avoid upsets by several top-15 arc-shooting Summit teams that have us circled in blood red on their calendars.... No Problem.

Keep disrespecting us at your own peril... #26 - ten points behind Miami (5-3) vs the Yotes (9-1).
