The Lady Yotes tangle with the Golden Eagles in less than 2 hours. They're 8-11 with some close wins and losses and are 3-3 in conference play. They've had 8 days to rest and prepare for USD after a double digit loss at Western Illinois. A couple of interesting scores in the last 3 weeks--a 10 point loss at Nebraska and a 14 pt loss to state.
As always the Lady Yotes need to be super focused and not take any game for granted. Go Yotes!!!

Last season during the conference schedule, ORU gave the 'Yotes a whole lot of trouble. Hope this one is over at halftime, but it would be fun to see a good game for a change. In the big picture I wonder if all these blowouts are good or bad for the team?

Last season during the conference schedule, ORU gave the 'Yotes a whole lot of trouble. Hope this one is over at halftime, but it would be fun to see a good game for a change. In the big picture I wonder if all these blowouts are good or bad for the team? This spurred a thought. How much have we trailed in conference play? @ WIU 75 seconds, all in the 1st quarter. Won by 31 @ FW 158 seconds, all in 2nd quarter. Won by 21 Denver 92 seconds, all in 1st quarter. Won by 43 Omaha 56 seconds, all in 1st quarter. Won by 33 @ NDSU 0 seconds. Won by 44 sdsu 0 seconds. Won by 35 Fort Wayne 0 seconds. Won by 54 That's 6 minutes and 21 seconds across 7 (and a half) games, with the team currently on a 170+ minute stretch of never trailing. Somehow the closest game yet was at Fort Wayne, which was answered with the largest blowout yet.

Yotes lead 37-30 at half. As suffocating at the defense has been, ORU is finding some shots. I can't imagine they keep it up in the second half.

The Lady Yotes were much better on defense 2nd half and the O got clicking better in the win. ORU has some 3 point shooters that were hitting and some good ball movement. The Coyotes with their balanced scoring slowly wore them down for the win!
