I know we got three guys sitting out on transfer this year that should bring some offense next year but it is still concerning how much we will be losing at the end of the year and the limited bench production we are seeing most games. Agree? Disagree?

Agree? Disagree? It happens. Umude will be back, but other than that I think next year will be a major rebuild. I would expect at least two if not all three of the three redshirts to step in and be major contributors next season. It's not like it will be their first college playing experience; they've all had a lot of playing time on the college level already.

The competition didn't challenge Taos Kamateros last night, but his footwork looked good. He might yet prove to be some "Greece Lightning"!😉

Agree? Disagree? With Umude being the only piece we can count on for next year there are a lot of unknowns. Losing Simpson, Hagedorn, and Kelley is going to hurt a lot. No question. No matter how excited I am about Plitzuweit/Koster/Heiman, I know they won't step right in and be just as good. We will need the young guys to improve significantly. If we can get even one of those guys to take a big step forward we will be looking a lot better - especially if it's Goodrick. He had that monster game at Hawaii and I've been waiting for that kind of play to come back. The unknown is naturally frightening, and the non-conference next year is probably going to be tough to watch, but I have faith the team will find its way during the season and at least be respectable in league play. No point in worrying about it now though because I've got my sights set on the big dance this year.

More of the glass half full type of take: the transfers will be in their third year of college ball. AJ and Koster were 16ppg/32+ minute guys, Heiman spent a year in a Big 10 program, and the three have been the scout team for a full summer & season, going against one of the top starting 5's in the league. Goodrick and Chisom have been solid contributors that will see increased roles. But, let's enjoy the now. Great momentum building!

I like what wet will have coming back next season, but agree that our offensive production will likely drop. The new starters will need to have a more dogged approach to defense to make up for it.

Agree with this 100%. The offense has been good to outstanding for most of the season, but sometimes the defense leaves a bit to be desired.

Coach Lee told Mark O & Mike H that AJ has put on 15 pounds. I think he will be a force next season. www.callingallsportssd.com/Scroll down a little and find the Todd Lee podcast.
