Western's up tempo O caused a few defensive issues early but Lady Yotes adjusted nicely as the game progressed and the Coyote O started to click especially with the inside game in the 3rd.
It is really fun to see the younger players play almost a full Q and you can tell by their excitement and energy they are really having fun playing together!! As Jay said the future of Coyote women's BB looks bright!!

Other than the four minute spell at the end of the 2nd quarter when they went on a 12-3 run, that was pretty much a drubbing. WIU is not without talent though and I can see where they have the potential to give anyone trouble if they would get hot shooting their threes. They certainly aren't shy about pulling the trigger.

Certainly wasn't this teams best effort game. Kind of like the MBB game the night before, this game/atmosphere just felt like it was played when the temps were below zero, the grind of the conference season was wearing on, and the timing of whistles prevented a fun flow. Things should start picking up next week though.

Sometime I forget just how good this team has been this year. Walked away from the game last night thinking that wasn't their best performance and they still won by over 30. Still 2 chances to catch this incredible team at home this year. Let's show our appreciation by showing up and getting behind these fantastic young ladies.

This team has clearly set the bar high as shown by Coach P's displeasure going into halftime and the way the team responded in the 3rd quarter. I have so much respect for this team and love to watch them play. Please get to a game to support them and bring a friend.

I thought last night was as physical as any game I've seen played in that building. Both teams were playing extremely hard and the refs were letting the majority of it go both ways. I also thought WI did a nice job of doubling down on our posts in the first half. Several times they had back side help come in to strip the ball out. That's a play we've seen Monica do countless times.

Where are we in asking if this is the best Yotes team ever? Or maybe the better question is whether there's even competition?

I don't think there's any question. The WNIT title team and last year's would be 2nd and 3rd, feel free to debate which one of those were better but this year's team stands alone. Time will tell but this team could also be the best team in league history too.

Need to go undefeated in conference play and win the SLT before we can crown this year's team the best ever.

Need to go undefeated in conference play and win the SLT before we can crown this year's team the best ever. Right. And I'd also say they need to win a game or two in the dance to even talk about best SL team ever. Both of last year's SD teams set a pretty high bar.
