The Lady Yotes have a quick turn around traveling to ORU. They obviously need to slow Lippe way down. She's averaging 19 a game and had 46 at NDSU last weekend. ORU has won 4 of last 5 so Yotes need to clamp down on D and be hitting on offense on all cylinders from the tip. Be tough and hungry! Go Yotes!!!

This is what makes me worried about next year. Lamb is such a great shooter but doesn’t or can’t create for anyone else.

Wow 77-73 Coyotes win. A loss in this game and a loss in Brookings and the Jacks would have someone stole the #1 seed if both teams had won out. These games happen, it was a win so we move on with knowing that these types of games can happen and were bound to happen at some point. Now if the Coyotes beat UND and NDSU at home they will clinch the #1 seed.

But I can't lie that I'm concerned that Chloe took 22 shots and still had 0 assists. Just seemed like our offense goes stagnant in those situations.

With how much the Jacks have struggled and how much the Coyotes have dominated could you image SDSU being the #1 seed. That was on the verge of happening but luckily the Yotes had just enough today. ORU is a team that always gives the top teams in a Summit a tough ride. If ORU is in the 4 vs 5 game in the Summit tourney and ends up playing the Yotes in round 2 I think the Eagles now have the Yotes attention. They are also very tough to play against and take energy to play against compared to an Ole team like Western Illinois.

This team works hard and they were facing challenges not faced by our opponent today. They never gave up the lead after going up 4-3. Last year down there we had to rally from a significant deficit late in the game. I don't know how people can criticize Chloe's game when she put this team on her back today. Great conference road win today.

I actually had picked this game as our only conference loss at the start of this season (can't remember which thread). If they had Mayberry this season who knows how tough they would have been.
I much prefer this outcome. Cussen seems to have Dawn's number, almost. Horseshoes and hand-grenades, and all that. I'd rather the G-eagles get the 3-seed, but I'll bet WIU holds on for that honor. We will play this team again in SF, I'd bet.

I think Chloe did one heck of a job taking care of business today. The refs made it impossible for the girls to play defense. Both teams had four players in foul trouble before the midpoint of the second quarter, and most of those fouls - on both teams - were ridiculous calls. That makes team scared to defend. It was hard to get the ball inside, and shots were not falling for quite a few girls today. Coach adjusted, Chloe shot, and we came out with a W. I am happy!

Box score says attendance was 1,256. Where were the other 1,200 people? I only saw 56.
How does a live-stream have the ability to replay a mascot being used as a bowling ball, but can't replay key plays like the ball going off an ORU player late in the game? Lots of head scratching calls in this one and it seemed like everything just felt "off." Quick turn-around with little time to rest, tough day on the offensive and defensive side, crazy shooting performances by ORU players, etc...but this team still found a way to win.
Happy to get back to the friendly confines of the SCSC and square off against the Bizun. Proud of this team and their grit and togetherness too. Go Yotes!

ORU is notorious for flat out making up attendance figures. They've been doing that for ages. I also recall past streams showing replays of anything ORU did, but never anything their opponents did.

Didn’t mean to say Chloe wasn’t great today. Just that she’s not a creator so that means that even when she’s on, it’s going to mean less ball movement generally.
