How did this thread turn into a Todd Lee lynch mob? So we lost 2 games in a row. We're still in position to make a run at the SLT. We're 2 weeks away from the tournament and looking at a high seed. We beat the current 1 seed handily and should have beat the 2 both times we played them. I would say Todd has done a great job this season. 19 wins so far. At what point do you blame the losses on the players that don't show up? I don't think the frustration is stemming from just one or two games. The league is really down this year and it's really there for the taking. It appears to me that we have the most talent of anyone and yet we are looking at the #3 seed. State is poised to win the conference and they lost pretty much everything from last year. Yes we did beat them, but they were without their best player that game. Losing to Western and IPFW should not happen. Getting blown out at Oral and losing at home to NDSU shouldn't happen either. I also think many are rightfully worried about what it will look like after we lose the last of Smith's recruits. I'm not at the point where I'm saying "Lee has to go, there is no way I can see him getting it done," but I'm also not going to act like I'm very confident that he will. With the non conference schedule that we had I guess I'm not overly impressed with 19 wins so far. I'm not saying the year has been a disaster, I just think we have a right to be disappointed in the results so far. With that being said, of course we still have a chance in the SLT. I guess pretty much everybody does with there being no dominant team. Whenever you have the most talent and most experience you will always have a pretty decent shot at winning the tournament.

I definitely don't want to run Lee or of Vermillion yet, but I do have reasons to question his overall fit and ability. A win in Brookings or SLT victory would go a long way. Regardless, I'm reserving most judgement until I see how year 3 goes, which seems fair to me.

This conference season all comes down to the Coyotes not being ready out of the gate. Losing those first two road games put them in a catch-up mode all conference season long. They went on a run but they put themselves in a tough situation right from the start. As far as Lee is concerned I believe what the team does next season will kind of be what we will see from this team in the years ahead whether good or bad. At this point in Lee's career I don't really see him suddenly becoming much better than what he already is. He kind of is what he is.

League standings don't matter at all in the Summit, particularly this year. The only thing that matters is the SLT. This thing is going to be wide open and any of the top 4 could win it this year. While it is disappointing to finish 3rd behind the XDSUs, it really means zero. Have to finish strong and head into the SLT with some momentum. Would be great to sweep the bunnies and get into the tourney riding that wave.
