(Duffy on the Duffys)
"I've put in the work for the last four years with this group, but (my family) has kinda been my team since birth. I played with my sisters growing up, my dad was the one comforting me after losses, when I was playing travel basketball and I was crying in third grade after we would lose. They've been there throughout the entire journey. I could not ask for a better support system, ... just, ...yeah. I'm stuttering. I can't even articulate it, they're amazing."
(On playing for others)
"I think we haven't won this championship game against them... I don't know if it's ever been done.... In this team we have this instilled sense of what the legacy of what this program has meant, and the work of these girls that have come before us. We love our alumni day, because we get to meet all of these girls who played back into the 90's.... and to have a sister who played before me, and I got to wear the same jersey as she wore, and to get to win this game and have her in the stands, I.... yeah. It feels like we both did it. Honestly it still feels like she is a part of this."

Well that was a fun one. A big thanks to the two posters that hooked me up with tickets today. Was good meeting/seeing you guys again. Here's what I like most about the game today. We played one of our worst games of the year and still managed to beat a state team shooting well beyond what they have the rest of the season. They wanted to play bully ball and beat on Sjerven in the post and we still found a way to win at their game. On another note, state fans are still the biggest whiners in the country. My God. I sat in the middle of a bunch of them and all they could talk about was how the refs were screwing them. Watched the replay last night. The only non-call I thought the refs missed was in last few minutes of game after Jacks stile ball and Lamb chased down player and knocked the ball OB and they didn’t call a foul. Lamb clearly raked her across arms on replay. Jacks love using their elbows when posting up, and the game was quite physical all around. To a degree I thought they at least let them play more than over officiating.

I think Duffy's interview was all the more impressive when you consider where and when it took place. She was awfully articulate just speaking off the cuff in an emotional moment, drenched in the sweat of battle. Impressive young lady.

Where I was sitting we outnumbered the blue, and the whining was a lot more muted from them than typical. It was awesome. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in how petty the bickering on Twitter is from Jack's fans. Crying about the refs is one thing, but Name-calling our student-athletes is pretty low. Jacks fans acting poorly?!? This was tailor made for 'What? No!', but I don't know how to insert a gif.

There were a lot of calls against the Jacks in the final minutes, ..... but they were also trying desperately to regain the lead, and playing more aggressively and taking risks. That's what I attributed that flurry of fouls to. Of course, Jacks fans were interpreting it differently. No surprise.

same way you insert an image. Right click on the GIF, click "copy image address", then use the "insert image" button on here. A GIF is an image.
