Smart strategy, IMO. I think the local area within 30 or 40 minutes drive is where a big chunk of the fans that go to games the most frequently live. Your "core" group of fans, so to speak. Plenty of the most loyal and rabid fans come from outside this area, of course, but I'd guess that in terms of going to the most games, the local area is the most important.
Interesting to see Harrisburg on the list. Seems like we have recruited athletes from there a lot recently. Great place to throw down a red flag in the SF metro.
