This game will be won by a team who had a dud of a game, just less of a dud than the other team. Has Wilson always struggled from the line like this? Hack-a-Shaq may be a strategy on many nights... Also, has Henderson always complained to the refs this much? He is talking the the stripes more than his players tonight, and I don't remember that being his style.

Kinda quiet heading into 4 games over 2 days with teams a combined 24-0, isn't it? From both fan bases. This season still doesn't feel entirely legitimate to me and so I'm having a hard time remembering when games are happening, let alone caring enough to tune in. However, I will always be here to hate state. This was the first game I had watched since the last matchup with state at the Pentagon. This game wasn't pretty, but it's still clear that Todd Lee's group has taken enormous steps forward since the beginning of this season. Guys who seemed like role players at best seem like very dependable pieces in the lineup that give us multiple scoring threats. I can't say I've really been in Lee's corner at any point, and I was never going to hold this season against him, but you can't help but be encouraged by the last couple months.

Huge win! 9-0 in SL, 5-0 on the road. As has been discussed in other threads, they keep adjusting to the game being played and finding ways to win. That said, we know those 9 games don't really count, since the Yotes haven't played anyone yet, and we will see what happens when we start playing the top teams.

Wow. Yes this was an ugly game, but can we finally give some credit to the Lee/Coyote defense?

The thing I'm maybe most surprised by: our bigs played as poorly on both ends of the floor as they have since 0-5, and still got a road W. If you would have told me that was how it was going to go, I would have guessed the Yotes would have been blown out. I expect a better night from Nic and Tasos tomorrow too.

Ah yes, because USD was firing on all cylinders. Nothing like winning a game despite shooting 34% from the floor.

Wow. Yes this was an ugly game, but can we finally give some credit to the Lee/Coyote defense? I’ve hung back. I knew what was coming. I’ve read some of the stuff here. Some legit. Most not. Get on board or suck it. TLee can coach!

"I hope we had something to do with it " Lol Just so everyone knows, this was a quote from Lee in the MidcoSN post game interview when they asked about SDSU’s poor shooting in the game. Honestly it was a very humble answer.

Program defining win. We need to build the expectation that we will beat these guys every time we play. This team has heart.

Given the offensive efficiency of Wilson and Friedel tonight it would seem that them not playing in the first matchup made too much of a difference.
