What a gutty performance by our gals tonight. Won in 4. 3 of the 4 matches were extended. NDSU played really well and fired up. We continued to struggle passing the ball but found a way to win. If we get the passing fixed I think we’ll be just fine. We are so well coached. So fortunate to have Leanne as our head coach and apparently some really good assistants.
I predict we win the Summit. We have 2 season ending matches at home against UMKC. Mark that date down and find a way to come see them play and cheer them on. The girls that wear red and white are first class young ladies...a reflection of Leanne.

Really happy to be able to watch the match online today! I was able to not only watch, but bring my wife and kids into the experience. I recently learned how to “airdrop” the video stream to my Roku from my IPhone. Fantastic stream and commentary from Goyotes.com.
For anyone interested in learning how to watch the game via stream mirrored to TV, or how to get tickets, or wanting to know about volleyball rules, ... feel free to ask me or Yoteforever, or AnnouncerBob, or others.
This team is worth following. Trust me.

Ditto everything kiyoat said. Tonight's match was incredible, and I look forward to watching again tomorrow. Who is the young play-by-play man on the webcasts? I get the impression he's a student based on some comments he made. I think he does a really nice job.
Another question for anyone who knows: what are the rules governing replays, specifically how many is each team allowed, and what is reviewable?

Coaches get 3 challenges per match and one more if there is a fifth (tiebreaker) set. They are “use it or lose it”, and don’t affect the number of timeouts. Whether they win or lose the challenge, they still just get 3. See the link above for what is challengable. Leanne’s challenge won them the final set, so that was a positive change. I think the coaches have been a fan of it.

I was at the match last night and the Yotes appeared a bit off. The phrase "Gutting it out" was a perfectly accurate portrayal. Volleyball is a huge energy and confidence sport. You have to have a short memory in sports but the one thing I hope the Yotes can retain from last night is... they found a way to win when some things are not going smoothly.
Coach Runde is a huge asset to the team! He seems to be the X's and O's person on the staff.
I am hoping the fans and PA Announcer can bring the energy to the match tonight - the team will need it.
One observation.. Alexis Bachmeier from the Bison is only 5'9 but she is quite the player, 2nd on the team in kills, first in digs, and is one of the team leaders in Service Aces. I am hoping one of the adjustments the Yotes make is to take away the cut shot from her on the block and make her hit between the blockers to where Lolo plays. It did not appear that was done last night and she had a big game.
Go Yotes!!

The ball was clearly in by at least a foot.

It was a fan that was right on the line that holler to Leanne to challenge. Pretty cool. It will be interesting to see what adjustments the teams make for today's match.

No having to deal with screen mirroring or tying up your phone to watch the game. Heck, if you stream the game on a Kindle Fire and there is a Firestick plugged in nearby the Kindle will ask you if you want to cast it to the Firestick too. Not plugging for Amazon because I am a Roku guy, just saying that they have something Roku doesn't, a web browser app that makes streaming from online sites simple.

I have a simple cable that goes from TV to my laptop. I click on the link and it pushes it to the TV. Very simple for me.

We are also a roku family (we have four of them, and I have one connected to three TVs with an HDMI splitter), but I'd consider buying a firestick for that capability. It was a bit of an inconvenience having my phone tied up. So: 1. Coffee Bur Grinder 2. Amazon Firestick anything else you want to add to my Santa wishlist?

Another nice night for the Yotes! I don't know much about volleyball, but I've gotta imagine that two successful kicked balls (one by each team) in a set is unusual.

It was like watching two different teams last night. Yotes dominated the first two sets and had a nice comeback in set 3 to take the match 3-0. The difference tonight seem to be the serve receive game and getting Maddison J in better position to set the ball. The Yote game plan tonight was a good one. Take away the cut shot from Alexis Bachmeier and attack her side of the court when she was there. BachMeier Match #1 16 Kills (USD No stopping her) Match #2 5 Kills (NDSU taking her out of the front row). Great Adjustment from Madison J of finding the weakness and exploiting it.
SeaYote: you are spot on pertaining to the Kicked Ball comment. It was fantastic to see it successfully executed.
