You could see the team was just drained as the game went on - the second half was very uncharacteristic for the players (several misses at point-blank range, half-step slow on D). Stan said in the post-game presser that no one slept much Saturday night. They were both physically and mentally exhausted, and we can all understand. I think that applied to Coach Lee too - he was relentless on the officials, and it appeared to lead to not getting 50/50 calls and eventually a technical. Even so, they still had a chance Sunday - Greisel ended up killing them, but most of his points came after getting his 3rd foul. I think a sharper USD team attacks him.

On another note, the jackoffs in Brookings get to claim another SL regular season title after playing 12 games. 4 total road games in the conference.

Lee getting a technical when he did really pissed me off because it was right after Richman had gotten into an animated shouting match with one of the officials. How he doesn't get a T and Lee did is just pathetic.

Certainly not the conference's best crew. It will be good to get back to normal scheduling and not see the same guys on back to back nights as well.

Crazy things happen when you play the games though. All of a sudden you play two games on the road and have to travel, it wears on you.
If the Yotes' games had been canceled due to the false positive covid test, we'd be the #1 seed and still have our all conference PG.

Losing AJ really hurts. I am looking at the best case scenario getting to the 2nd round of the Summit Tourney and losing to the Bison. NDSU always does well at the tourney and they are going to be my pick to win it. The Jacks minus Friedel are not going to be looking good either. It is ORU or NDSU for me this year.
