The entire coaching staff is breathing a sigh of relief! It was going to be a s$ t show for sure! That is the dumbest thing I ever heard!! Keep that junk off this board, it doesn’t do any of us any good. College athletes and coaching staffs are competitors no matter what you think of them! And most of the staff, if not all, were much better players than you even dreamed of being and elite competitors at their level. So lose the attitude. |

I would imagine that some players parents flying in from Florida, Texas, or other places are more than a bit disappointed. Hopefully they will get some quality time with their sons. Meanwhile I am sitting at home watching Northern Iowa play Western Illinois. It's 17 to 7 UNI at the half.

The other part of this is the revenue portion for the athletic department. We all know that there is a budget issue and cancelled games do not help the cause, especially one that draws a "sell-out" for general public tickets. I heard from a suite holder that there is a 5 game clause in the leases that could impact next year's lease. I do not know the details but if they are able to roll the lease payments from this year to next, that also becomes a financial boondoggle.

I’m chalking it up to having a bad morning. Like I’ve always told my kids... if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. I know Nielson will right the ship before fall. We’ve got a great QB and a lot of other talented athletes. So I guess we’re going to make the best of it and check out some of Vermillion’s finest bars. Until next Saturday...cheers! |

Committing literal acts of war in violation of the Geneva Convention because they can't convince these kids to compete every week. Flew home for this game. It totally sucks as Ndsu had 3 test positive on Wednesday yet didn’t report to the league. Technically you have to report 48 hours before BUT maybe in the interest of doing the right thing maybe something should’ve been said.
Many people were in Vermillion at 10 and didn’t know. Saw quite a few Bison fans as well.

If 3 people had it Wednesday it seems really obvious to me that more would have it Saturday. Did the team at least travel down from Fargo? |
