So if everyone is no to Black than shouldn't everyone be no to the Chrome helmets to. I don't think there is anything wrong with bringing out Black anything but helmets would be cool. I think Black and Red is the best color combination of any when it comes to uniforms.

At the end of the day, the alternate uniforms are something the players and recruits generally love. Some of the designs will be popular with the players, but maybe less so for the fans. No big deal. Everyone has their preferences. Let them wear what they want to wear.  Can't make everyone happy when it comes to style.

If it were up to me I would have red jerseys and helmets at home with white pants (which is the standard jersey) and for a changeup grey jerseys with red pants and helmets on the road. Grey goes with red much better than with white but just an opinion.

I know I am maybe in the minority but why not try black helmets now and then. I think Black Helmets, with Grey jerseys and red pants would actually look cool. Having Black Helmets every now and then at home with the red jerseys would look outstanding IMO.

Fyi the chrome helmets were re-painted to make the white helmets a few years back. Partly because we were winless in the chrome.
