The numbers Coons out up this year were awfully impressive. 21.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. 48% from the floor and 36% from behind the arc. She also put up around 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game as a sophomore.

The kids look good but they haven't set foot on the floor yet so don't assume we are going to be world beaters just yet. That being said, things appear to be trending back toward where we want them to be talent-wise. Coaching still has a ways to go but better players can make coaches look pretty good in a heart beat.

With the addition of Mike Jewett to the staff, there are a few more potential recruits I'll be adding to these forums when they are followed by multiple coaches.  This might mean very little, as most BB coaches follow a metric ton of potential recruits.... but it's what we have.

*May 22 2023 update: my thoughts are that those offers in 2021 might not still be active, as her recent offers are less desirable?  UNI is the best recent offer she has, so I'm surprised she hasn't taken it.  That's a legit mid-major.

I was going through this thread yesterday, and updating all the offer lists, adding stuff I was seeing from twitter.  I made the above comment about "KJ" Janes.... and today she announced her commitment to UNI.  What can I say?  I'm good!

For this class the focus is on our only active offer out there, PG Allie Turner.

2024 Verbal Commits:
6-2 Wing/Forward Gabby Wilke (had 11 D-1 offers)
6-1 Wing Hannah Coons (had 8 D-1 offers)

2024 Offers:
5-8 PG Allie Turner - (13 D-1 offers, including USD, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Colorado State and Belmont * and Wake Forest just today)

According to my calculations  , we will only have two scholarships available for this class... so maybe we are done.  OTOH, there are a lot of ways to free up a scholarship, if needed.  Hell, right now we are technically at 16 scholarship players on the roster, which is one over.  So somebody is either leaving or switching to walk-on.
