Jack played as always on punt and KO plays. Almost all KOs were not returned. There he was held on one punt return when the Raiders had 2 holding penalties on the same return.
I'm sure he played last week too but I just saw highlights.

Jack got a tkl on a KO return. Most other KOs were not returned per NFL norm.

Jack was doing his normal KO and punt coverage duties yesterday. The Chiefs starting LBs have fortunate and are staying healthy, so Jack hasn't had a need to come in yet.

Jack got in on a PR tkl today but naturally at Mile High all the KOs were not returnable. NFL really needs to change the format since it is usually a waste of time.

Does anyone else recall the local media doing multiple stories about Christian Rozeboom playing special teams in the Super Bowl for the Rams? Guy was from NW Iowa so a real local interest story about a kid who also played for State right?
Well, Jack Cochrane, a guy from Mt. Vernon, IA, who played for USD, apparently just wore the wrong color in college. Granted he grew up about 4 hours further into Iowa, but he plays every special teams down there is for the Chiefs and is 2nd on the depth chart at LB and lots of folks around here know it, including those in blue.
Heck, there is still a former Jackrabbit playing for the Eagles too, so they can still manage to make it about the Jacks, but our local media is just awful. The nearly dozen stories on kelo about the Jacks win, Stig's legacy, Jimmy Rogers, the legislature honoring the team, what a national title means for the school, school pride on campus, etc, etc, after the national title win was proof of this enough, but the story that got eye rolls from even my bunny friends and family who acknowledge the bias is very real was the story about Peggy Miller who helped the Jacks transition to D1. As one of my bunny co-workers said, "Yeah, that was probably a bit much."
Kelo still hasn't found their way to Vermillion to cover Josh Davis or to do a story on our new fb signees yet, even just the SID prepackaged story. USD also has a women's track team that happens to be pretty special this year too. Ok. Rant over. I'm going back to the blue bunny echo chamber.

The local media is biased no doubt. Nice win by jacks but I like to remind my local rabbit friends they still trail their "real" rivals--the bizon 1-9 so don't let your heads get too big yet!!! Would be a good reminder to local media too!!!

If the media you consume just makes you angry, you are consuming the wrong media. That can be taken a couple different ways...but for sports? Why would I consume sports coverage from an outlet that doesn't cover what I'm interested in?
I encounter zero sdsu coverage in my daily life. You can too.

I cancelled the Argus a few months back and I don't miss it one bit. With very little searching everything that was in it that was of interest to me can be found in other sources. It's just gotten worse and worse over the years to the point that the print edition resembles some small town weekly. Still subscribe to the Yankton P&D online for state and local info and to be honest I feel they do a much better job.

I always wonder what out-of-town visitors must think when they see our local paper.

Good interview by Thayer on Feb 20th Yote Cast about his rookie NFL season and KC's Super Bowl win. It's about the last 20 minutes.
